Thank you for showing the short 3rd game. It is important to know this kind of information. Thank you for your positive attitude and honesty.
Same gun as Charioteer. It's behind Leopard PTA or E-50 but the HESH rounds, when they connect, that's when this tank really shines. It has more than double the ammunition the Charioteer has so don't worry, you won't run out of ammo.
In my view, e50 has the best gun in tier 9, and it is my favourite tank of all. But cent is second, above Leo pta.
i liked them back in the day, when they had a great armor on the turret.
We could peek againt a Jagdpizza. HD rework ruined the turret.

Your Index page is a very useful resource to navigate thru the djungle of tanks and it saved me a lot of money by informing me about how useful any tank maybe can be for me. It also showed me some hidden gems wich are underrated or otherwise under the radar. Well done, Sir.

It was my favourite tank before HD rework. I had more than 1000 games and this tank taught me how to play high tiers. Good old times.

I like it when you use the reticle mod.
First, it's readily available to everyone. It's not a secret or an illegal mod. Spreading awareness is the key.
Second, it makes the life in the game better. If more people are hitting their shots, more people are playing more precisely, I feel that people are going to enjoy the game more.
Third, there have been several mods in the past that have now been incorporated in the game because it improves way of life in the game -- zoom out mod, trajectory view when using arty, as examples. The more people discover and use this mod, the higher the chance of it being a permanent way of life improvement in game.
Tbh, even with Skill showing us this mod, I was still paranoid that it might be illegal. But it is on WG's own mod site, so it's ok to be used.

used to be my favorite tank. Its a large medium but i love the way it looks. Wow the new gun handling looks insane. Back in the day i would min-max it and still had to full aim every shot.
Still miss fv4202 at tier 10 with those very same hesh rounds, loved that weird vehicle

This reticle mod is really game changing! Of course it will not make you god of aim just by installing but it helps a lot with decision making when shooting!
you missed wz 111 6 on that super tester acc, he performed well in it aswell with 1.4k base ep, checked tanks gg and it looks solid aswell tbh, only the gun handling is bit off but thats standart for chinese tanks

Hey Skill, I tryed that spot you use in Karelia a couple of times and in 9 of 10 times I loose half of my HP if Im not in a light tank
I m using reticle mod after I have seen your video helps a lot to aim.

This is my favourite tank in the game right now. I highly recommend trying the vission system with it, let's you play very aggressively and use those sweet HESH rounds

Probably because for 90% of tanks in the game, there is no real choice. Most vehicles have a definitive "top" gun, and those that don't may have meme guns instead, like the E-50 and its super long 88 or the Patton and its derp gun.

@@peenguin1397in that case its personal, some people like high dpm and brawling, sone like to sacrifice some of the dpm but have better sniping capabilities

You mean T-44, right? T-54 Has two good guns, one is dpm, second is higher penetration and more acurate. T-44 has 100 mm gun with more penetration and better acuracyz but also has 120mm gun with 390 dmg and shit penetration (it's fun to play anyway, but you will need quite a bit of gold ammo)
The issue is that the existing viewers like the reticle mod, but new viewers may be confused. You may want to add a disclaimer to the beginning of the videos that you're using one mod
Skills fanbase likes the reticle which doesnt represent the true numbers....
My most enjoyable tank, it got some flaws but it's fine~, the buffs makes it slightly more comfortable to play.
I love the ammo in this tank. Having to chose between AP and HESH is so fun and feels like what the game really should be. I pay so much more attention to what tanks I am fighting and which ammo to chose
Thanks skill. I was working towards this one but wasn't sure. Finally picked it up and went 5/0 in my first 5 games with minimum 1500 damage and even got a reaper and fighter award in one match. Seems like a totally capable brawler so far to me. So for clarity HESH rounds are a bit weird. They are just HE rounds with better pen. So sometimes I did 57 damage with them sometimes I did 450 kinda 50/50 so you really need to pay attention to the situation and what kind of shot you have on an enemy tank. It makes ammo selection an actual thing to be cognizant of in the C7/1 like it was back before the easy help reticle was introduced. The APCR is completely adequate. Gun is a bit slow this thing would trample everyone if the ROF was a bit higher. I think I used a bounty rammer and got up to about 2300 dpm. Its feels like a well rounded tank though.
I went with bounty vents/bounty rammer and regular vert stabs so my tank could still be pumped up more with bond equipment. I wish this tank could make bonds it would be a great T9 bond farm. It will probably end up being a fun tank that I play when not feeling my E75 at tier nine.
I see the super tester had played the M4 Rev for only 2 battles. lol.
This was my first Tier IX tank. =)

I love this tank , better than tier10 ,the only inconvenience of this tank is gun loading , if he got less with 1-2 seconds was perfect

around 2 weeks into using the reticle mod and I've discovered that it doesn't help with your aim! u still have to aim well! and I've learned just because the tank can fit in your critical it doesn't mean it won't miss and you'll be surprised and mad when you won't hit even tho it's in your essential!
so bottom line is U STILL NEED TO AIM FELLAS, and I love the mod, I recommend it
When gun is not fully aimed on server reticle god knows where your shells go.

Can't always spy on the ST players. Played against one on NA and went to check him after battle, got a notice that his stats were unavailable.
That was a WG account, then. NA doesn't have super testers.
It still needs turret armor buff.
238-250 Turret armor is joke vs T54 for example...

Not sure the gun buffs make that much sense really - yes, better when the vehicle is moving but only if the turret isn’t being turned. Doubt that is frequent enough to make a noticeable difference
I smacked an LT on Sand River earlier today at 300 meters with a HESH shell while on the move. Less than 60 seconds had passed in the match and I was moving to my starting position. When I saw the shot connect, I audibly gasped I was so surprised.
i performed on IX tier actually better than on cent AX xD you can trust your turret armor at least, very nice tank to play

Dear Skill! Thank you for nice videos. I am fighting with marking Cent 7. It is plain of despair! I like Cent, it is better with the gun behavior now. But I'm not able to effectively use HE amunition to produce better results.

Skill I think you should not use reticle mod. Reason being that it is correctly representing the hit circle ONLY when you're fully aimed. It is not however correctly representing the hit area when you're not fully aimed. It's basically a patch by WG because their hit calculation formulas are let's say not conclusive. The client doesn't really know "how much" aimed you really are and where the server reticle really is. So the default WG reticle gives "better overall representation" in all the cases, while reticle mod is better only in some. This would be misleading for your viewers.

I tried the mod, so far, I never shot so much in the ground thinking that my shot will be fine cause of that mod or maybe it's me, I don't really know..
Mod doesn't change the Derpy rng mechanics, games just a troll unfortunately.

so .06 change to dispersion when moving is a buff?? pretty much irrelevant when the programme that decides where your shells go has such massive variation and controlls the results.

Can someone explain to me, what the benefit of the smaller aiming circle is? I have never - in about ten years of playing this game - thought to myself: "Man, if only the reticle was smaller." Fully aimed shots will still miss, depending on RNG. And not aimed shots will still hit, depending on RNG. So... What is the real improvement here? That you are likely to take a shot earlier? But when was this ever a good idea?
It’s a placebo effect really. The placement of the shot isn’t altered at all by the mod.
I'd say the main benefit of the mod is that you can see what the actual dispersion of a certain tank is
Or in other words to see where your shell will fly in the reticle
With the vanilla reticle every tank has such a huge aim circle which doesn't make a lot of sense. Even tanks which are very accurate have a bigger aim circle than they should have
The mod fixes it and shows in what kind of area the shell is going to fly to.
I actually love that a lot because it gives me a better understanding on wether I'm going to hit my shot or not.
If most of the enemy is in the modded reticle, you are most likely to hit him.
Then only RNG is going to tell you if you really hit and penetrate him or not

You can shoot faster in some situations, for example you are aiming at E5 side from not too far and you want to hit shot 100% of the time, so what do you do? You aim till whole inside of the reticle is filled with tank, so you have nowhere to miss, and with this mod mod you will know exactly when that happens.
8:32 shell goes way out of reticle...fake confidence imho....
The Charioteer has a very similar gun to the Centurion 7/1. But the difference in dispersion is huge: 0.28 to 0.12. Someone can explain this to me logically 🤷♂️
"Balance". Same reason the Premium Draugen Lansen C on consoles L7A1 stats are all subpar, while the same guns routinely have wildly different reload speeds.
@@koncorde What balance?. Practically the same gun. The centurion gets a buff and the Charioteer stays unchanged with a much worse dispersion
@Andriucha It was ironic balance. Like much of the games changes. Console veers between replicating the chaos, and creating its own.

All British LA guns should be laser pointers - and strangely they are on other nations tanks - nice to see it get a buff here. Maybe one day they'll finally just accept British have to have something going for them in the game.

@Janis Karklins "Laser pointers", we all know the Leopards gun works better than the British versions for 'reasons' not explained. Half a second faster aim time, higher alpha etc.
Again I was trolling this tank in my carro p88 then he started using premium ammo even then he couldn't hit me. I got like 1800 block damage only from him. It was worth it.
Cent 7/1 is the best looking tank in the entire game. 2nd is T29 with its ears turret lol

I just got this tank, maybe is a god tank, but stock ,before you upgrade gun and engine is a PAIN in the A..... :( 200 pen and 200 damage if you pen, is shit,, every time enemy notice i have the small pipi just rushing me..

Since when do they have Unicum supertesters? Did WG finally understand that bad players can’t give you a good estimate about a tanks’s performance, even tho they are modeling the tank to fit the “average player”. I think better players can give them better feedback
I use Turbo, optics, rammer with a BIA crew and pudding. I really enjoy this tank. I love fighting T7 tanks with it. Feels like cheating.
