I've had this book for a long time. I mostly love it but there is one spell in there that always just makes me laugh....it's one to keep unwanted visitors from your door. The spell basically involves smearing your own menstrual blood on your front door handle. I laugh because, well, yes that's going to turn anyone off coming into your home! Haha. Apart from that....love this book!

I personally love this book. And yes it has some crazy spells. For example how you make your wife to never leave the home. But most of the spells are useful to be honest. I use the cleansing, protection and recentely the lost objects spells.
Glad to hear it! And I agree. Most of it is useful and inspiring, which is why I definitely recommend it. It's just important to take precautions, I think, in the instance of those certain spells. Speaking of certain types of spells, I like to draw inspiration from the healing, prosperity and cleansing spells in this book, as well as others. :D Blessed Be! )O(
Ok better than I was expecting. My mom brought home the 1,000 spell version for me and I wasn't sure of the accuracy/legitimacy of its contents, haven't read it yet. She tends to bring home a lot of books related to Wicca, witchcraft, the fae, etc and not all of them are of I guess you could say...good quality. It's the gesture that counts though and I am beyond grateful to have mom that is not only ok with/ supportive of my practice but actively shows an interest in and goes out of her way to bring home these sorts of things for me.

Love your book review :) I agree 100% with you reg. that this book is not for beginners - and would lie to add that the user/reader also need to understand the wiccan reede and the rule of three before they decide how to use it...I find some of them quite problematic since they are really borderline black magic - or even VERY black.. So i think it is very responsible of you to warn beginners and have them talk to a more responsible practitioner. As soon as you start casting spells to rule over others feelings and what they do and not you are entering the realm of black magic ...Not everybody knows this.. So the book is great for the right use.. and quite funny to .. Lol.. :-D
That's actually a really good question! It depends on the copy and which site/place you buy it from, but you can expect to spend $30 dollars at the very least (from what I can gather). It's usually a lot more expensive than that though, I think. You don't have to take my word for it however. I got the book as a Christmas present, so I don't really know for sure. :D Blessed Be! )O(

My husband gifted the book to me for christmas. I have been wanting this book for a year now.
