My best take whenever I order a Ramly burger: double beef with extra mayonnaise. I don’t like it to mix with eggs/omelette, cause it underwhelms the taste of the patties. Mind you, every Ramly burger stalls have different taste and seasoning. Maybe you need to try a different stall everyday to find the best one 😂😋 enjoy guys! 😀
Ask every malaysians which Ramly stall is their favorite, everyone will surely give many different answer. Eventho every stalls use the same patty, but their cooking techniques and sauces blend are different.
In 1978, Ramly along with his wife, started their business at home creating halal burger patties from scratch. They applied loan from government agency but was rejected, they did not give up n now Ramly is one of the most successful local brand✨ Thumbs up 👍 to Charles for bringing u guys to local eating spot instead of tourists spot
Ramly burger made beef patties in the beginning. It didn't sell as much. Even back then, burgers were seen as western cuisine and not part of daily meals. They realized there were people providing buns and other parts that made a burger, it wasn't as readily available. So they encouraged young entrepreneurs to open stalls by giving them a model for them to copy and supplying them with all the ingredients. The most popular locations were in front of 7-11s. The shops provided drinks while they provided food. The 7-11 didn't mind because it resulted in people coming to the store at all hours for burger and drinks
Terima kasih in malay roughly translated in english is 'accept love'. I am not sure why but I like to think that when we say terima kasih, we feel the love in whatever service or or food they are providing.
Ramly used to be a butcher but part time worked at his stall with the wife. Patty was created at home in the beginning. Since being a butcher he knows what meat is good for the burger. That was in the 1980s. Like they say, the rest is history.
