If you’re curious…Skam is a series that started in Norway and was recreated in many other countries. This video features four different shows. You can find them all if you Google "All of Skam" - they have multiple links for all the episodes. Every season focuses on a different person (and couple) and this is Season 3 (collectively referred to as "the gay season") and can be easily watched independently from the other seasons if you like, with just a bit of background missing from other seasons, but it doesn't take away from the love story.

The original one is a masterpiece and the France one is my favorite.
SKAM Norway will forever be my favorite, Not only because it's the original but also the most authentic note too. France's version was the first one I watched (only a couple episodes in school) and I wasn't interested but when I watched the original I became completely obsessed. Since then I've tried watching wtFock and SKAM France but nothing really hits the same as SKAM Norway.

Alt er love! I love the OG so much. I also really enjoyed Druck if you haven’t seen that season 3 yet - had a nice, different twist to it! 💛🏳️🌈

@pippi2647 it’s nice how they switch up the Isak and Even character arcs but keep some nice things from the OG. It’s very tender and sweet. If you do watch, I hope you enjoy! It’s my favorite remake 💛
Actually france one is better because Norway one is very slow and also weak acting from the actors. This isn't a surprise cause all Norwegian movie series are slow 🐌.
@@user-oi1fr5ed1l Sorry in advance for the long reply, I’m really passionate about Skam (more specifically the OG lol) so this was just me taking the opportunity to ramble on about it. :)
We all have our own opinions and the OG ”being slow” is kinda the point. it’s meant to be like that because that’s how it is in real life, there are a lot of awkward silences and times you’re laying in bed just thinking. And that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, that’s okay, but that doesn’t make the french one automatically better, it’s just your preference in media that decides which one you like better.
Also about the acting, almost majority of the cast in the OG was around that age of the characters they were portraying, while in the french one a lot of them were a lot older, which means they probably had more experience in acting then the OG actors.
I can’t see where you’re coming from, as I see the acting as realistic (a bit awkward, cringe and all that stuff that makes sense for a teen).
I have no idea about what norwegian shows you’ve watched and if you’re familiar with the norwegian language or not at all, but me being from Sweden and being able to understand norwegian almost completely, will maybe view it in a different light than you.
I liked all of them but Skam France and WTFOCK were my favorites, hell I still re-watch them today.

I did watch the original Skam and the others versions as well, I enjoyed them but my favorite is WtFock, I like the language, the OST, the actors, especially the actor who portrays Sander.😍
The Korean version is coming this 2024. I am so excited for it, hopefully they will produce a good remake.

I did not know about a Korean version. I will be on the lookout for it. I've been obsessed since Norway. I've seen every version. Italy is also a respectable version.

I read that they cancelled SKAM KR but instead they are making "Fragile" (premier on September, 9th). Not sure how much common it's going to have with the original but considering the conservative "bent" in regular broadcast in KR they might cancel BL altogether 😒
wtfock is the best for me. i know norway was the original but the quality and the effect of wtfock was way greater

Personally, my favourite it’s Skam Norway cause it was the original and felt pretty real. But I also liked a lot the spanish version. I think it’s the most creative of all the remakes and when I first saw it I thought it was a documentary about teenagers, then i realised it was a tv show. Great vid!!
I watched all ver. Liked some more than others, but my fav. will always be the OG. Isak and Even are just 🥰🥰🥰

Y'all don't know how much i love this,i just found it randomly i decided to watch i didn't know what was instill for me.i wached Norway Isak and Ethan my favorites they have my heart.but.i would really love to watch all versions
Google “All Of Skam” it’s a website that has links to Skam and every remake with English subs. It’s also got all the insta posts and text messages that they dropped midweek. Druck is my favorite ❤️
My Favorite
1. wtFOCK - grittier, deeper, darker, and had the best “Even” which was Sander
2. Druck - softer vibe, very sweet, had the best “Isak” which is Matteo bc he was a whole mood.
3. France - had stand out moments
4. Sweden (OG) - never had my favorite scene against the others, sometimes didn’t feel it at all from Isak.
All were good these are just my thoughts.
I will say that even though Matteo was my favorite “Isak” Druck’s chemistry was definitely the lesser of the four. Chemistry is something you have or you don’t, no level of acting will change that, people will see. I think the change in story line was more important than the chemistry to the directors.

Thanks, so interesting to see how different directors handle the same scenes. While it is easiest to focus on the actors a huge credit needs to go (always) to the original writer, director, producer of SKAM OG, Julie Andem. She is masterful and all subsequent directors who handled the material had a challenge in meeting her original achievement.

For me, ALL versions have their own appeal whatever the individual watching thinks, feels or sees the couple's chemistry.
Although I have a slight preference of a remake couple, the OG in Isak and Even set the standard and their storyline remains untouched because it's the one that feels the most authentic as it was telling it's story and not just trying to better itself or make it different so it's no.1 spot won't be beaten for me.
Now for the rest starting from my least to my favourite.
Matteo and David. An interesting take on the OG. They were sweet but for me personally, I didn't get or feel the depth of their love being enduring. It felt very much like just a high school romance that would eventually petal out (not saying that wouldn't happen to any of the others but it just didn't feel that way).
Martino and Niccolo. Now I know many weren't that impress with the Italian version but I did enjoy them when they came out although have ended liking other versions that came out after them. For me they had some lovely moments with each other and also with Martino's friends (which are the best male group friendship version in all remakes).
Chris and Joana. First female version which was definitely a twist. Lovely chemistry and enjoyable to watch unfold even when it was heartbreaking at times.
Top 2
Lucas and Eliott. Amazing chemistry, great build up throughout the story. And Lucas in particular had my heart. Was my no.1 until.....
No.1 Robbe and Sander. Absolute blown away by these two chemistry. Love their build up until their first meeting. Both are my favourite version of the characters individually. Never wanted a version of any Even to have his own series/season until Sander came along and yes that also includes the OG! It gave me so many feelings as in happiness, fear, sadness, angry, utter frustration and so much joy. Their song for their first kiss is so top tier and is my favourite song of all of every Skam. I will say pretty much every song in Robbe's season was utter perfection for their scenes and the meaning behind it. When you can a hear a song played and remember exactly where it was place in any of the scenes, well it just impacted me in such a deep way.
Now I'm not say it was 💯 percent perfectly written or play out because even I was ringing my hands in exasperation especially towards the end however it doesn't take away from the beauty of the performances by the two Willem and what they achieved. I just simply adore Robbe and Sander so very much.❤
