Hi i also own a 2008 Opel Vectra C with 150 HP, 110 KW, 1910 cc, 1.9 CDTI EcoTech engine. Now I would like to get it chipped up to a maximum performance that does not require servicing. Isn't this 200 BHP=197-198 HP already damaging the factory parts? Thanks a lot in advance for any help.
No as long as you get it remapped by a competent company, I suppose a remap will shorten the life of certain components but would only be very minimal. All components will handle 200bhp easily. The clutch would ideally need to be a good quality part.
@@garylinger4873 I'm taking it to one of them but I didn't know if the factory parts would last that long because he recommended 190 HP. Thank you very much for the information. The guy I'm taking it to has been doing chips for 15 years, has his own workshop with a power bench, and can even put the tuning in his turnover.
mine are goodyear 225 45 19 cant remember the type of goodyear but i can say they are really grippy im getting my vectra 1.9cdti ecu remapped from 120bhp to 180bhp soon and torque should increase from 236lb/ft to 305lb/ft with a company called celtic tuning might do my cambelt done at same time as this was belt driven not chain driven
Hi mate I got 2008 vectra Sri 1.9cdti 16v 150hp automatic 144k miles same colour. What hp I can get? And should I upgrade any parts for this remap ? Thanks
Tomas Kiss a simple remap should see 190/200 bhp. Front mounted intercooler and exhaust work will allow better breathing. I’d also suggest a welded inlet manifold and blanked egr just as a standard procedure for that engine. If your looking for more power than that then injectors and turbo will need changing out.
No just been looking at them on Google that’s how I found out about the whole swirl valve issue I’ve just been typing in issues I’ve had I’ve only recently bought it but I love it looking to get it remapped but don’t want to if it’s not going to do it justice might aswell get a new manifold then mapped the ball joint has come off the second valve but I would have no idea if it wasn’t for the forums I’m just not a member
does somebody know what clutch he uses ? I need a clutch for this motor , 1.9 CDTI @200 HP on a 6 speed M32 gearbox ... the original LUK kit is slipping... Thanks
outshine windows you mean why on a vectra well why not they are very affordable to buy and decent to look at plus easy to remap and quick enough happy days all round

Can you still get a map if you haven’t got welded manifold , would there be any point as my swirl valves are glued open apart from number 3 ?
Yeah but it’s always best to get it welded, them valves can fail and end up in the bowels of your engine
Thanks 👍 do you know how much roughly new manifold is for this model
There’s quite a few people supplying and fitting welded inlets for around £200, are you on any Facebook vectra groups?
