Just a general question: What variable is more significant? - A variable with very low P-value, *** and low log-Odds, or - A variable with moderate P-value, ** with a higher log-Odds (and higher Odds)? For example: Estimate Std. Error z value Pr(>|z|) Variable 1 1.051549 0.244265 4.305 0.00001670247 *** Variable 2 2.020332 0.689988 2.928 0.00341 ** Odds: Variable 1 =2.85 and Variable 2 = 7.53 Variable 1 is more statistically significant, but Variable 2 has a greater effect... so, which variable is more significant?

Just a general question:
What variable is more significant?
- A variable with very low P-value, *** and low log-Odds, or
- A variable with moderate P-value, ** with a higher log-Odds (and higher Odds)?
For example:
Estimate Std. Error z value Pr(>|z|)
Variable 1 1.051549 0.244265 4.305 0.00001670247 ***
Variable 2 2.020332 0.689988 2.928 0.00341 **
Odds: Variable 1 =2.85 and Variable 2 = 7.53
Variable 1 is more statistically significant, but Variable 2 has a greater effect... so, which variable is more significant?
