Hey Tango, If you are looking to make the dog to no longer stand up when you right click on it, then the most straightforward solution would be to use a command such as: /data modify entity @e[type=minecraft:wolf,distance=..5,limit=1,sort=nearest] Owner set value "a" Which updates the owner of the nearest dog to be a non-existent player with the UUID "a", and would solve your issues of it standing when you right click it and it's not ready to eat, and this will let you playtest the game properly and even play the game yourself without needing to be afraid of accidentally breaking something or limiting what you are able to do. This type of command feels inline with other commands that are used on the server, such as the amour stand or item frame commands, but does require op. Obviously it's up to you and your comfort level of using commands to accomplish something like this, but might enable enough fun that it is worth the hassle of having Xuima come over and doing it. Anyhow, hungry hermits is looking fantastic so far, and I can't wait to see more people enjoy it!
Another option if they don't want to use a command is to have TangoCam tame a dog. Or they could use TangoCam's UUID as the owner if they use the command and still want a valid owner.

For excess items that they throw on the floor, I have a posable solution. Blocks with item frames just like counters in plate up. As an upgrade they can get more item frames. If no space on counters they have to throw in trash. Kinda honor system.
The structure void texture is basically a valve and is copper colored also. Maybe you don't want to add a custom texture, but this is as vanilla as it can gets. I know Xisuma uses the barrier texure in his enderchest. Since the texture is technically already in the files is easier to get.
I'd recommend having the lights OFF in the emergency valve room until the room is needed. Makes it stand out more in the one case players need to be aware of it
I think Tango just assumes (rightly or wrongly) that since he doesn't know all of the intricacies of redstone like Etho or Mumbo seem to, his redstone is really inefficient, which isn't true (imo) because it works.
I think you can only give bones to untamed dogs. Also, what would stop them from just ordering a bone and walking it three steps over to the crafter, instead of going all the way out to the farm?
I think the idea is the treats are rotten flesh renamed with maybe a custom texture applied. XeroTrinity is just suggesting what that texture could be with some lore to ground it. There would be no crafting of bone meal from rotten flesh. Its not a bad idea if Tango feels the need to give more lore justification to the bone meal system.
Cleo is 100% my favorite Hermit, but it wasnt super cool of her to show off Doc's secret entrance or his stuff in general when he planned on having a whole thing about getting people down there

I think that’s the point. Theoretically 720 seconds is the entire length of the round so there’s no need to ever refuel it and importantly the block of coal disappears right when it starts burning meaning there’s never extra fuel at the end of the round/game that the next team could take advantage of.
Possible idea for the furnace upgrade: have a detector for when the furnace is on/off (observer + t flip flop should work) and a detector for if there’s an item to be smelted in the furnace (comparator) (btw I’m not 100% sure whether the comparator will detect only items in the smelting slot so you should check how that works first). Then have a dropper put a piece of fuel (any fuel will work as long as it can smelt at least one item EDIT: you could use wood doors, signs or any of the wood tools (I would suggest a crafter crafting wooden shovels as that is the cheapest of these options) which would give exactly 1 item of burn time and then the player just has to press the button for every item they smelt) into the furnace when the player presses a button (as if turning on the furnace) but only if the furnace is off AND there’s an item in the furnace to smelt AND the player has the furnace upgrade (3 way AND gate). That way the furnace will only run for a short time and can be “restarted” by the player if and only if they are using it. This should avoid any edge cases where there’s leftover fuel at the end of the day/game. Of course there’s still an issue of having extra food left if a player decides to smelt multiple of the same thing at a time (which could be solved with a locked hopper that drains the furnace at the end of the round but I don’t know if there’s enough space).
Don't know if anyone commented this yet about the pre-customer... have the system decriment and increment properly and then add one extra customer in manually to the closed loop. Then it should always just have one in the system behind the gate at the start of each day. No hacks needed. It counts out the reqired customers (say 5) and shuts off after it counts the same ammount (five) customers, but there would be six total (because of the manually added one) and that sixth would be stuck behind the gate. Hope that helps.
A block of coal in the furnace will last for 13 minutes and 20 seconds while a dried kelp block will last for 3 minutes and 20 seconds. From what it sounds like you are going for, one block of coal might be a good upgrade to be more equal in value to the other ones.
Thought there was something being forgotten at one point, but I cannot remember what it was even hours later. Though one thing I will say... severely underestimated how long something like this takes. I'm excited for when this is done and the hermits get to play, but also hoping the remaining systems do not cause as much trouble so tango can enjoy his factory (and the misbehaving minecarts).

tango that circut for the dog dispensr you made the wrong circuit and then inverted it, you should be be taking a signal out and if the signal is 0 then you can invert it you did not need to subtract anything because your looking for empty.
Cleo, Snooker and Pool may use the same playing surface and similar equipment, but the balls are different, and the rules of play are different... they are cousins, but not the same.

can a noteblock be powered by a copper bulb? If you have a copper bulb under the noteblock and have like a repeater can you make a t flipflop, so the when they rotate the valve to 1; the first will go off, but if rotate to two the repeater will turn off the first copper bulb ending the sound and so on for each of them?

What if u made it a rule "no throwing items period", they have 1-2 inventory slots, and they have to use item frames to switch or store items? (Ik u cant auto reset the item frames but neither can u reset cauldron etc.)

The gaps in squeak just feels like you messed up - the player has no way to know you meant to leave a gap there and won't be spamming it 99% of the time.

If he is okay with it, then you can keep the name. But I also love the name Bonejovi, so whatever makes you happy. I just find it to be a missed opportunity. Also, I am aware of why people don't like the name.
I think Etho would have been able to handle it, he is one with the mom jokes and all that. But there were two separate hermits that commented about it in not a great way, plus other viewers felt uncomfortable about it which resulted in the mentioned backlash, plus Tango not feeling right about it (yesterday it felt like he was trying to reassure himself that it would be fine but seems he was iffy on the name as well), so even if it was a cheeky opportunity, probably for the best even if Etho might have been fine with it.
@widdershinnz the original name was etho's mom. Many thought that since Etho named a ravager after Bdub's mom that naming a dog after Etho's mom would be fine. I personally feel that if Etho is okay with it, then cool. But I will not rage if the name remains Bonejovi. I am just a curious person. I also know that Tango would never purposefully offend someone. I imagine that if Etho went up and said, "I don't really like that, eh bud?" That Tango would apologize and fix it. So I feel that he doesn't deserve any flack, no matter what the final decision is. It is not our place.

I just watched your bark twice conundrum. Again I say making the upgrade to the treat ordering system would solve that too.
There is a cooldown between dog feeding time. More treats would require more trips to the dog. Its not as enticing of an upgrade.

@widdershinnz the original name was etho's mom. Many thought that since Etho named a ravager after Bdub's mom that naming a dog after Etho's mom would be fine. I personally feel that if Etho is okay with it, then cool. But I will not rage if the name remains Bonejovi. I am just a curious person. I also know that Tango would never purposefully offend someone. I imagine that if Etho went up and said, "I don't really like that, eh bud?" That Tango would apologize and fix it. So I feel that he doesn't deserve any flack, no matter what the final decision is. It is not our place.

fun fact beeing offended in germany means usually the person that is offendet overreacts in a childish way. to offend someone in germany legaly/ and scialy most of the time. you must use faul language, clear choice of words etc. the mostly US mindset from the people that get offended by everything would be impossible in germany, they would cry scream and turn to smoke in just seconds in the supermarket :P
Yeah i don't think the name needed changed at all. Honestly disappointed in tango for giving into them when it was a harmless name and the equal to it was perfectly fine for decked out. People say they are offended because they just want their way.

Wish you hadn't caved to people being offended over nothing. Sometimes you stick to your ground and something silly like this was not worth giving into people over. They will just demand more and more and be offended over more dumb things. This was completely harmless and kinda sad you gave in. Just my thoughts.
