This vid made me realize how interchangeable these characters are, either it's a detached guy who ability focuses on fluidity, strong but compassionate girl who's ability focuses on graceful strikes or loud, flamboyant guy who's ability focuses on brute force
For real. How many of these breathing techniques have a “fluid but precise and deadly” ability? They kinda just mash together. Haven’t watched the anime yet, was waiting until they finish it. But this doesn’t make me super excited for it
I don't think you need to highlight that every Hashira has exceptional physical ability, it's somewhat of a given with the breathing stuff and acclimation they have to do- akin to telling us that every one of them is an accomplished sword-wielder (even if the term sword is used loosely). I feel that mentioning exceptions like Shinobu not being very strong and Mitsuri being absurdly naturally strong are more noteworthy.
4:33 I thought the Kocho sisters were born into a family of doctors, not demon hunters? Also 22:13 Kanae being gentler towards demons and believing in redemption and you showing Sanemi as one polar opposite 😼
