with focalors having 2 different personalities i kinda now see it with hydro vision users >> barbs in the eyes of her fans are like this idol that is just perfect yet between herself she still works hard to be like her big sister and feel like she is less than her .. yelan says in her character dialogue something like “having more than one identity makes it easier to live through life easily” xinque is with him not wanting people to know his pen name where he have different identities and dosent feel comfortable with people knowing his pen name kokomi she is mostly serious and always seen as planner smart and like dosent have time to chill but in 3.8 we see her more chill and less serious or taking the lead she is more in the back side and existing as her own self without having the pressure of taking the lead tortila he is basically bad guy working with aka villains of the story when we first meet him but later on we find that he does it most for his family and he dosent want his brother knowing the other side of him he is the kind best big bro to his brother eyes
Moreover on that nilou I don’t know much bout her but i can say she is basically your im different when im on stage same as beyonce when she just do things and doesn’ understand where she gets the confidence and as for mona you get it she said she always broke and we were sad for her can’t afford food then we were shocked to realize that mona is rich and has like so much stuff but her money goes for her studies so to people eyes she just sad broke girl and she doesn’t do anything to say no im actually rich she just goes with it
Perhaps it's more about change though... The power of water is its ability to take any shape, Dendro is also growth, perhaps similar to Collei growing past her trauma, Nahida growing into her role as an archon.
I think it's her other half the light one... It was speculated that she split herself into two and the Hydro Archon we saw on the trailer is her dark side that seems bratty. When it started raining on the trailer I suspected since Lyney was investigating the Oratrice he needed Traveler's help and we somehow saw (in the video) a seemingly oceanid saying: "Huh? Where am I?" Then Navia started investigating and believed us that's why we were with her. I don't think Furina is bad, she along with other oceanids have the same sentiment when the previous Archon died.
At last! Someone who properly described who or what Khvarena is. Other theorist and lore content creators always say the child of Nabu Malikata and Rukkhadevata which is nuts. I feel Furina isn't aligned eith either Pneuma or Ousia. Since she's Focalrors she may not need those, or she has both. As for the Oritrice, some theorize that it's the Hydro Gnosis inside and powering it.
The gnosis would make so much more sense. It could be that since the gnosis is a direct source of connection to Celestia, it's not meant to power man-made machines, thus could be causing a dangerous amount of instability.
I was definitely not the only one to describe it correctly! But thank you. It has been hinted that Ousia and Pneuma are everywhere in Fontaine and I'm like 99% sure the traveler will be pneuma aligned, even though they aren't from Fontaine, hence why I think Focalors likely won't be an exception to the rule. Sales wise, giving her one less ability than the rest of the characters of her nation would probably not be too good an idea, either. As for the gnosis, that's a very real possibility! However, at that point it would start to feel like Sumeru 2.0, what with the Akasha and all that. Also, since the dendro gnosis couldn't give the Akasha consciouness, I wonder how the hydro gnosis would be able to do such a thing...hmm, food for thought. Thank you for watching!
@@BluesLoreCrumbs i kind of guessed MC will be pheuma since we're getting Lynette who's Ousia. Like a beginner's guide to puzzles in Fontaine (for those not getting Lyney or Freminet).
But. We know the Original Hydro Archon turned into a Tree to hold back the Abyss and tgat Tree is literally overlooking Fontaine. Its also where there Conciousness is.
The Harvisptokhm, yes! That's why I first gave a quick rundown of the cannon events and went on to speculate. Most of her consciousness would be contained within the sacred lotus still, but it's not impossible for part of it to be elsewhere. Remember how Makoto infused the Musou Isshin with part of her consciousness and had it lay dormant until Ei used the full power of the blade? Something similar could be happening here. Thank you for watching!
I've always interpreted the energy of yellow variety being elemental, like all of the elements combined to form a sort of "Light" energy, while the Blueish/Dark Blue energy is sort of Celestial in nature, not only being wielded by Dainslief, the Keeper of the Bough (possibly Irminsul), but also in both Celestial nails. Sure the Abyss uses Blue Portals, but Dainslief can use those too, plus ever since the upside down statue of the 7 Archon Quest, Abyssal energies seem to be purple/magenta in hue (See the Sinner as well) The Abyss may be blue, as it reflects the color of Celestia's "light" since there's nothing there to begin with, hence being called the "Void" realm in "Before Sun and Moon" Just my thoughts. I could be totally off base 😅
Also those Abyss portals could very well be portals to the ACTUAL Abyss, not made of Abyssal energy, and the Abyss can be traversed like a network, since time and space may not function the same way.
That’s such a good analysis! I completely agree with you about blue being often associated with Celestia! That said, it seems to be a lighter blue, while ousia would be somewhere in between celestial blue and abyssal purple. I guess that could play into the idea that ousia is a different kind of abyssal energy, one more stable and more similar to celestial/elemental energy, hence the weird mix. Specially because we can see hints of blue within pneuma! Ousia still likely has SOME abyssal nature, though, because the abyss has always been brought up as the counter part of the light realm, thus the annihilation reaction would make sense. Thank you for watching!
Really interesting theory; By the way, do you play Star Rail at all? I've been cooking up some Genshin/Star-Rail connection theories, but I'm not used to posting online about them (nor do I know how to format them). Would you be down to maybe collab on the theories (or more specifically, both a discussion of the visual/lore connections between the two games, and then theories that could be gleaned from those connections?)
I see what you mean. If ousia is a form of abyssal energy, it could have been wiped out by Rukka's consciousness being completely destroyed. However, you could easily make an argument against that thought. You know how the mud in the chasm remained even after the forbidden knowledge had been destroyed? That mud IS the FK, it has simply been altered into a less destructive form by the celestial nail. So it seems that Irminsul is unable to recognize FK when it is present in a different form, which would also make it unable to get rid of ousia. However, the timeline seems to match up, so that’s a really interesting thought! Thank you for watching!!
I discovered a long while ago that all Hydro Characters have had this guiding influence in their life, and this is what has majorly lead their life. (Childe was trained by Skirk, Barbara is an idol because of Alice, Mona has an astrology teacher, and so on). I believe this is the Hydro Connection between all Hydro Characters, including the Archon herself. As the God of Justice, she should take some special care for all criminal cases that land themselves in Opera Epiclese, however we hear from herself (in the overture teaser) that she is very enthusiastic about seeing a real Twist, this even makes Neuvillette say “refrain from levity in the court” (levity means showing a lack of seriousness). But just like she said, it was Boring, why would she even bother? However, in the 4.0 Trailer, she is the opposite, she says “I Focalors welcome you to the Nation of Hydro, and acknowledge the value and significance of your trip”. It is much more serious than her reaction to a boring case, with our already accumulated fame due to the Steambird, she knows that it’s very likely that we will stir something in her Nation, as well as our desire to meet her. And in the Alice Teaser, she says “if the Traveler commits a crime, then the court shall decide their f-“ … :D “shall decide their fate!” So … Focalors is in all likelihood leading us around her Nation, and might be instigating us to commit a crime. (Basically, Focalors wants trouble to be stirred up.) So! With all the finally said, what is Focalors guiding influence? Her ideal of Justice isn’t the delivery of Justice, nor the judgement of Justice, but rather the theatrics of Justice. The Story it produces, the attention it gathers, the Twists and Turns, the Fame, the Indemnitium. If there is Joy to be found in Justice, she will seek it out. This means that her Guiding Influence is very likely something that first introduced her to these theatrics, with so little information about everything else, I can only leave a complete assumption that the introduction was from Celestia, since … they are like … right there … yeah :P
Could definetily be! However, outside of the vaguely petal looking head (?) you can see what would be 2 sets of flippers, if it were an oceanid. Meaning it would be different from the base form we are used to. But then again, "the power of water is its ability to take any shape"! Thank you for watching!
Hm. I'm having a hard time feeling out what energy you think is where. One of the issues is that you're saying GoF had elemental power. If she was a Seelie her power was Celestial, not Elemental. That's why René compares and contrasts Khvarena with abyssal energy because the Khvarena is a Celestial mix (with added Dendro and Hydro). It's interesting to make a point of the Amrita being a bit "dirty" when the Archon dies but the pool is clearly used as a cleansing substance in the modern day, so either the "dirty" aspect was talking about something else, or Simurgh burned out any abyssal energy in the pool when it suicided, and had enough Celestial energy to charge the resulting mix as Celestial overall. I don't think we even need to assume that much from Simurgh though. These cleaning quests haven't needed Celestial energy before now, except in the Chasm, which wasn't really a cleaning quest. They feel more like changing the bag on your vacuum cleaner. There's a system set up to gather "filth" or "sin" or "mud" or abyssal energy or bad karma or whatever other words they used ... and that system which is often a tree-like thing, gathers it into one spot which then gets "full" every 50-500 years or so making some hero have to perform the ritual to change the bag out. René isn't talking about the Gaokerena when he says adults don't like Abyssal energy etc, he's talking about the idea of an annihilation reaction, which would require two energies, one Abyssal and one Celestial. There's no elemental energy involved here. I mean you can throw it in there but it doesn't matter. If you only have Abyssal plus elemental the elemental will simply be absorbed. No reaction. Just as Celestial energy absorbs elemental with no reaction. I would guess the Traveler has no Arkhe. It would be very significant if they had Pneuma because it would suggest the Twins naturally have Celestial power like a Seelie, which would make them basically a sort of god on a higher order than the Archons. Which isn't far fetched at all, but it seems premature to say so. It's weird that Fontaine allogenes have this going on and it seems like they could only pull it off because they are paired that way and the energy isn't originally sourced to themselves.
Just commenting about the Traveler's Arkhe, honestly if they only have ONE I'd be shocked. After all it's THE Traveler we're talking about, I'm betting they either have access to both (maybe Pneuma and Ousia variants for the Statues of the Seven? Just speculating.) or like you said no Arkhe. Though from a puzzle and gameplay standpoint, the Traveler might just have Pneuma, as we're getting Lynette (Ousia) for free after AR 25 so we'd need a free Pneuma character alongside that so stuff isn't locked behind "pay to win." Either way, I'm hyped to see what's true or not!! :D
Well, we have never seen an archon wield more than one element before. Some gods can, but it's unheard of for archons. That said, I'm sure there are matches or even lighters in Fontaine that she could have used. Thank you for watching!
