Relativism is simply the fact that we're all the same, have the same qualities, and faults , and the dialectic is that we clash according to our wills that engage us in a struggle to survive as any species does in the universe. Relativism is extinction rebellion, avarice, social justice, debauchery, racism, sexism, narcissism, phobias, and these evidently are our qualities since high conflict and negative reinforcement have positive and progressive results.
The truth claim that all truths are relative is not an absolute, and is thus not ironic. The fact that everything is relative is only true relative to the universe we live in, and the way we understand how that universe functions. If the laws of logic were different, or the universe as a whole was different, then it may be the case that all truths are NOT relative.
60 Second Philosophy If everything, everything, can only be described in relation to something else. Relativity does not fail. Something can only be "bad" if there is an abstract moral code to base it on. Something can only be "big" relative to something smaller. Whether qualitative or quantitative, it works.
60 Second Philosophy It's not that it "must be" abstract, it IS abstract. We create it as an idea ourselves. Objectivity in regard to anything, especially "morality," has yet to be established, by any metric. The "if," is something that can be demonstrated. Name anything you believe to be objective, and I can demonstrate how it's value, either qualitative or quantitative, can be altered depending on the frame of reference.
"We live in the best of all possible worlds." Even God's omnipotence (assuming we both agree He exists) cannot transcend the rules of Logic. If he is all powerful, and could do that then thats another point to make. However, it is the way it is.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. -John 14:6 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. -Acts 16:31 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. -John 3:16 Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. -Matthew 3:2
That was well explained. Short and sweet. Thanks
Thank You so much for this, lots of love, it help me to understand the term quickly so i can move on with my study.

Define ethics in the light of relativism and objectivism? explain the moral codes in detail.
tomorrow is my debate on this topic (i am an engineering student do not judge me) and this handsome personality made things even worse.
Also Relativism is self defeating like you alluded to when saying "ironically".
