  • Getting out of the rookie series in iRacing, one of the most realistic and popular racing simulators on the planet, can be a daunting task. It requires patience, skill, patience, and even more patience where that came from!
But, with hard work comes reward and boy do the rewards come in droves when you put in the time out on the track in iRacing. I just got my lumps in the Mazda MX-5 Series and upon finally getting through to the D class on the Road Classification last night, I wanted to make a video going over what exactly I learned throughout the Rookie class process, and what I think was important to take with me moving forward in my Racing Sim Career.
Follow along for more videos documenting my journey going fast and bringing out that inner kid in me that just loves putting the pedal to the metal!

Each series has a schedule so you can plan which cars to buy and which tracks you want to race. The Mazda and Toyota series are some of the most fun on Iracing.

@paulashwin247 ah the vee is super fun but for some reason the gears always slip and it's the only car that happens to with my Thrustmaster H pattern. Just finished practicing with the ray and that thing is super fun but a little squirmy. You're gonna hate the mx5 until you love it :)

@@bigboytoysTTR Sounds fun. TBH I'm running the vee with paddles and auto blip/clutch so haven't run into those issues yet.
