Cracking the Code: Why Sim Racing Costs a Fortune

All it takes is one quick google search to realize that this is one expensive hobby. But then again, all hobbies can become costly if you let them. So, what is it about the specific art of sim racing that makes it so easy to grab for your wallet, whether you have the money or not?
This video is a verbal essay written to tackle that very question, and pose to my community of viewers an answer to the root of the real problem. Let me know what you think as we continue the debate into the comments section, and let's figure out what makes this hobby so unique in the costs that come along with it.
I also offer some personal advice I've given myself to gauge whether or not it's time to upgrade new gear and you can use that as a barometer to find out if it's the right time for. you, too.

All my SimRacing gear I ever have owned. (And that’s a lot over the time.) I bought because of the immersion. Never been a fast sim racer, probably never will. But I enjoy the heck out of it.
