I have the Presto induction canner and have had zero complaints in two years of use. I replaced my gas range with an induction range that advertised a canning burner (Frigidaire). I especially love how efficient it is- my kitchen doesn’t get nearly as hot as it did with my gas range. I also love that it is very easy to clean and that there are no gas combustion emissions. My two All Americans are still in the basement, but I’ve not missed them.

Thank you!! I have a glass top stove and haven’t tried canning either way on it yet, so this is absolute valuable information!!

Thank you, best information ever on pressure canning, I have been canning outside with a propane camp stove, what a pain.

Thank you for this information. I have in induction stove. I found that when I was just learning to make bone broth and set the burner on low, went to bed, that is turned off! So I bought the large Ball multi cooker . I have the Nesco pressure canner which was a non intimidating way for me to get started with pressure canning. I think I’m ready to move to a bigger canner and I’m glad Presto makes one compatible with induction.

Yes! I picked up that induction canner from Walmart for my sisters glass top electric stove! It is a different experience from canning with a presto on my gas stove.

This is great information. I did not know there was an induction canner. I like the idea that I can also easily move where I am canning as my kitchen cabinets are crazy low. Thanks for this information.

Thank you! I’ve always enjoyed your safe canning videos. This is useful information. I do can on my glass top stove, but would prefer to use this.

Great information! Thank you. I have a glass top stove with the canning burner now. I had a coil stove that I used for canning but one day I was water bath canning and turned away for a moment as it was processing when I saw a flash out of the corner of my eye. My stove was on fire! Talk about panic! What happened? The weight of the canner full of water was heavy enough that it pinched the wire under the burner top and caught fire. Be careful and inspect your stove by lifting the top up to expose underneath the coils for any damage. I certainly will never use a coil stove again. I also do most of my cooking with a induction burner similar to the one you have there and I love it.

Wow, great information, I maybe able todo pressure canning now. If I could have someone stand by my side the first time that would even be better. Time to save money so I can get both canner and induction burner. I can save my stove. Thank you so very much 😊❤

😢I could not find a coil stove to replace my old one. I HATE my flat-topped stove.

This is awesome, thank you. I have only used my 16 Qt canner because 23 would be too heavy for my stove.

Great info. I have had two different glass top stoves. I have 2 all American canners. I can using both at the same time. Maybe I've been lucky but I have never cracked a stove top. It seems to work fine as long as the bottom of the canner isn't bigger than the ring of the heating element. Hopefully I won't ever crack a cooktop but I know it's a little bit of a risk especially when I use both canners at the same time. Just my experience.
