This was such an enjoyable day, saw so many different places and people. Thank you, Mohammed, you are a true legend 🙏Thanks for watching guys, see you in the next video from Egypt!
Hello there ! really love your channel ❤ I'm a local Egyptian girl and I'm so sorry about the police situation.... Please allow me to explain why that happened not just for you but also for your fellow followers and fans who plan to come to Egypt 😉 why we don't allow literally ANYONE not just tourists to take photos or videos inside the churches themselves, that's because some undercover members of ISIS came to churches claiming that they're tourists with their cameras and they got few shots of the whole place to see the perfect place to set the bomb, you may had heard that many churches and one mosque were bombed in the past; well that's how they did it. So it's up to the churches' scouts (I'm personally a member in scout) to tell any visitors not to take photos inside the church itself for security purposes. That's all, thank you! ☺
Nick you're coming in my top UA-cam's list. Did you see how he talk with kids. Really he loves to explore the places and most often try to meet people. No Racism, Great man, loved the video; Thumb from me 👍
Hi, my name is Renee and lived in Egypt for 10 years now. Your doing a wonderful job show the world the beauty of Egypt a d its history. Thank you for posting.
While Amr Ibn al-As mosque is the 1st mosque built in Egypt, it wasn't the same size or architecture as the one standing now. The early version of it was small and simple even the columns were just palm tree trunks and had no minarets and the roof was just wood and palm leaves. The mosque went through many renovations, redesigns and additions for hundreds of years.
I am an Egyptian , and I didn't go to most of the places you went to 😂😂 what's wrong with me 😂 I am exploring my country with you so ironic. Thanks a lot for making things positive .. You truly are a good personm
The shots & editing were so on point in this one! I enjoyed watching so very much! Thanks, Nick, and thanks to Mohammed for showing you around some really cool places! 🙏🏼👍🏼✌🏼
As an Egyptian I love these vlogs so much! also your Arabic/Egyptian titles are so on point! wonder who's writing them or suggesting them for you because they actually add to the content, very good job :D
Loving this Egyptian series, your videos inspired my Egyptian trip last month and like you I want to go back. Have you been to Dahab? It was probably one of my favourite spots! And yes, chronologically historically too the Jews came first then the Christians and then the Muslims 😊 Keep up the amazing job and good vibes! 🖐️ all the best!
It religion no ethnicity thing ....Islam entre Egypt by only 3000 thousand man then people of Egypt who were Christian transformed to Islam ....look at Egyptian genes you will find a nice surprise ..only 10% of Egyptians are Arab .and 90% are Muslims and Christians Egyptians ...
I visited Egypt too in 2007. I loved the Abu Simbel temple, the Black and White Deserts near Farafra / Bahariya and the strange exotic limestone formations somewhere there, St Anthony's Monastery somewhere in the desert near Zafarna I think and St Catherine's Monastery in Mount Sinal / Jebele Musa (as per legend where Moses received the Ten Commandments) - the two oldest living Christian monasteries in the world, Temple of Isis in Philae/Agilika Island, Lake Nasser, taking a nap on a felucca in Nile all alone going to Banana (or Crocodile?) island from Luxor, Saqqara and Red Pyramids, the Qaetbey fort in Alexandria...
Been following Vlogers specially travel episodes through edges of the word, and I have found yours unique and awesome fact! You should visit the Philippines 🇵🇭 on next summer - watching from hybrid asian country the Philippines 😊 keep moving forward🙌🙌🙌
Yeah everything but tolerance. Let's be realistic. Egypt needs a lot of work regarding tolerance. Atheists are not allowed to leave the country and anyone who protests for them, the government sends them straight to prison. Let's keep that tolerance part away from the table.
Nick, I think one of the best advises to give your viewers who want to do travel vlogging is to start in less sensitive locations and build content and subscribers, so that if they go to the sensitive locations where authorities would stop them for filming they can simply show their channel and prove they are already established and well known. I believe this has already saved you in different situations.
I don’t usually comment on anything but hey I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I am Egyptian and live in Egypt and I really hope you enjoy your stay here, and I would highly recommend you to go visit Dahab,I promise you won’t regret it! Anyways enjoy ❤️❤️
You should do more religious visits, but make sure you have the cooperation of religious leaders and police when videotaping so that you don’t get in trouble. There are so many ancient churches, monasteries, and mosques. Egypt is filled with history everywhere.
You got some real good sense of shooting and filming of there man,,i really wish to show you more of the people in here , it's always the people and the minds attracts me when I travel, let me know if u passed by egypt one more time
Loving your videos..also, very nice music selection. I don’t know if you ever post the titles and artists of the songs, yet I for one would really really appreciate it if you did 😋 Thanks for all you’re doing!
Daniel Awad okay so they are real Christians, I didn't know that, but I do know that you are Coptic. Honestly, some words even native speakers can't understand
Yep, the middleast (Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt) is the Cradle of Christianity. 🤔 Mary and Joseph refuge was in Egypt, Jesus was born in Jerusalem(Palestine), baptized in Jordan river, 1st miracle in Qana of Galilee in Tyre South Lebanon. We still exist after all 🤗
How many times shall i congratulate you Nick on amazing video! In London for a theatre trip here. It's actually lots of fun, leaving the NYC area for a bit. Decided on no sim card for this trip and find it challenging by turns. Question: do you manage getting uber using a local sim card in the mobile?
It's awesome how he's showing people the true side to Egypt rather than all the false shit on the media these days. Huge respect for this guy. Keep doing what you're doing man.
For Egyptian food try Ful medames which is Fava Beans, Koshari, Bamia which is okra, Ta’meya which is falafel, Mulukhia, Hawashy, Besara,Basbousa, Baba Ghanous,Mahshi. Try the Egyptian bread which is called Aish Baladi.
I think that the fact that you were Accompanied by Mohamed (A Muslim Egyptian) to visit the Coptic Churches and cemeteries says it all about how the majority of Egyptians live together
My two Egyptian friends took me to visit The hanging church in Cairo. And my sweet Egyptian mum would have taken me to visit a Coptic church in aga if they hadn't had a bomb scare and they closed their doors to visitors..

at 04:54, can you guys spot the swastikas on the bike? i wonder why that person would choose that sort of decoration?
A lot of people here actually display these signs out of ignorance and all they think about it is that it looks good to them as a decoration but know nothing about it really.
The Nazis appropriated the symbol from elsewhere. In India you will see the symbol, I think it means happiness or something akin to happiness
It's ignorance for sure, but I bet if you tell the owner what it stands for, they will be proud of it. Religion is a poisonous well.
