Great video! I'd love to see you do a re-cap on the 330C. I'm a total noob when it comes to working on these so would appreciate seeing a step by step video of how you'd go about switching out some of the components and electronics, and see what replacement parts you choose.

I really enjoy your diagnosis and repair videos. The HK 330C looks like a nice receiver but as you pointed out they are pricey now. I have an opportunity to purchase a nice, serviced HK 330A receiver. Would it be a good choice ?

I appreciate the kind words! I think the 330A is probably a fine receiver. I believe that all the 330's are generally regarded as being well built, good sounding smaller receivers. This guide on audiokarma helps explain the differences between the models in the series. Hope it helps!

@13:30 you have the speaker switches off, so you’re adjusting the trimmers without the 8 ohm load on the power amp.

Good catch! I'm going to be doing some rework once I replace the electrolytic caps/some transistors. I'll be sure to have the selector actually activated when I readjust
