This is a great example where *performance* is the key. You don't need too complex tricks if you entertain with your performance.
That was beautiful. So unlike most of the acts on this show. I love the idea of breathing new life into carnival tricks
The fire show at the start was awesome. Great presence and choreography, great choice of music, loved it. The trick unfortunately I was able to see through.
Fun trick. I got a soft spot for the circus/side show/vaudeville style performances because of all the history behind it and all the interesting and unconventional people that have participated in that history throughout the years. Kudos.
Damn now only was that an increidble show but the way you performed it full of charisma and confidence was amazing as well!!

Your presentation was magnificent throughout! You have a wonderful charisma and stage presence, no doubt honed from your circus work. And I must say that as a magician myself, I've done many demonstrations with the undeniably dangerous aspects of heights, water, and fire. But of the three of these, fire is the one that scares me the most! It's an unpredictable element, and can never be fully controlled. I've never trusted it, and try to never have to work with it! So naturally I was on the edge of my seat all during your fire effects and I was thoroughly amazed by your skill! I also found your closing mentalism routine to be a very novel and ingenious interpretation of a combination of classic effects, as Penn said! Of course, your incredible beauty was also a significant addition to the performance, and I found myself thoroughly entertained! Bravo, Jessica! Very well done indeed!!!

Superb performance, Ms. Peterson!😃 I wish you could've fooled the boys. But, I had a hunch that might prove difficult as Penn, himself, often proudly admits he is (and I quote) "ex-carny trash!" But, I still stand by my opening statement. So, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get a chance for an encore on the show.

This is the third woman I've watched perform on Penn & Teller, but the only one whose trick I wasn't able to see as a common spectator. I love the spirit, the confidence and everything else though. (Kinda reminds me of Fran Fine :))

There is a reveal video on Y.T. The final word of that long piece of paper below the picture is time written upside down.
All the text of that long piece of paper below the picture is printed upside down , it does not matter where the scissors cut.
To read the cut piece of paper Alyson needs to turn that cut piece of paper and then the last word , time , printed
upside down becomes the first word. Just rewatch the video at 3:33 we see below the sciccors 6 lines a space and then 4 lines
And at 4:07 when Alyson holds the paper we see 4 lines a space and 6 lines.
At first I thought you were part European when you called her "love" and then I watched the intro where you said you were from Tennessee, I've lived in Tennessee all my life and I've only ever heard women be referred to as "darlin'" lol.
Kid Fox I’m originally from New Jersey, and I was always so nervous about having a hardcore Jersey accent, so I used to listen to old radio shows and mimic the stars! Sort of a mid-Atlantic style accent. Eventually my voice just sort of morphed into a combination of everything, but I for sure get ‘love’ from the old radio shows!

I wasn't so impressed with the trick.... eating fire is cool though
