I really appreciate you taking time to teach, it really helps me as an angler and waterman. Could you please do a video on how you fish docks and bridges? I’d love to know how you position boat in relation to bridges and docks, how to fish them on each tide, and so on. Thank you in advance Captain!
Im curious, why a jig instead of a hook/circle? Ive been watching your stuff and know there is most likely a reason. Look forward to hearing back- Frank
When originally produced, the product was called "Gator Bites", in the original "Shrimp" flavor. A researcher at Florid State invented it, and sold the product starting in the early 80's. But, the school objected to the name, ( infringing on their mascot ) hence the name change. Several other "flavors" were developed later including Crab, Squid, Clam, and Sand Flea.
During the summer months the hardhead catfish are crazy on the dead shrimp so the Fishbites would be best, during the cooler months dead shrimp or Fishbites will work!! Have fun trying them out!!! Don't forget to subscribe!!

Thanks again! I have had a pack of these for over a year and never knew what to do with them! I figured they had to work…. somehow!
Now I know!!
Thanks Charlie, Bayou Bandit on UA-cam uses Fishbites exclusively and catches lots of reds and flounder!!
You are impressive! I would never have thought of this and to show it working was icing on the cake!
Thank you! Cheers!
great video thank you

If I hadn’t seen it I would have never believed it. I would have lost that bet. Thanks for the unusual tip. Going to have to try that.
Yep, try it out they work very good especially in dirty water conditions!!!
Charlie would like to get your thoughts on most productive ways to work falling vs rising tides and whether you pay attention at all to solunar tables
Will do!!
Thanks for the tip. Just curious if they would work on fresh water catfish.
Yes they do!! Caught many on the shrimp flavor!!
Can't Remember The Name Of Them, But Used Something Just Like This In The Late 80's and It Also Worked, Good To Know 🤔👍😎

@@woodystemms3799 They Surely Worked, Was Amazed That That Lil Piece Of Scented Cheesecloth Actually Caught Fish 🎣 💪
Does fishbite go bad? I have had some for a few months and I noticed that it has discoloration to it. I'm not sure if it's lost its potency.
They do tend to get a little gummy over time, but we call it "Fish Gum" when that happens!!
Orange used for pompano
I've heard that also from my buddies in Florida!! There are so many colors and scents its a lot to try and use but I"m a tryin'
