hi, the video is pretty accurate up until the 2:20 mark. do NOT do what the rest of the video is saying. you need to close the anadius tool app and then reopen it, once is reopens & that little menu appears, click the SIMS FOUR UNLOCKER. From there you need to click update > then toggle the dlcs you want > install, close Anadius, reopen it & then click RUN DLC UNLOCKER FOR SIMS FOUR, open the EA app and then open the sims four. your dlc's should be installed from there.
yeah that doesn’t work for me. i tried that and they showed up in the game as “downloaded,” but literally none of the content (CAS, build, worlds) was there

what dose "Error: User rate limit exceeded." mean when downloading the google drive? I know I've downloaded from it before but I've tried several diff google access and it won't work.
if anyone encounter "Error: User rate limit exceeded", during the download, just reload and wait for few seconds. I tried 2-3 time and it's okay though. maybe just a lot of people are downloading at the same time.

you can press command + option + “I”! If that doesn’t work, you can press on the settings, scroll down to “more tools” and then press on “Developer Tools”:)) then it should appear!
having this same issue right now too :( I think maybe only a certain number of people can access the downloads a day and to try again when it resets in 24 hours? I'm not sure. Super sad about this though.

I downloaded the packs and put the ep folders into the sims 4 packs folder but when I open the ea app it says I don't own any packs and that I just have standard edition, the first time I tried it it worked but the next time I opened the game they were gone even though they were put in the right folder
When I open the game, in the main screen I press where it says packs, but it appears a message that says “download to use” in all the packs. Does anyone know how to fix it? :( I've already checked that the packs are in the correct folder. I think the game doesn't detect that the packs are there, because even if you remove the packs from the folder, it appears the same message in the packs.
Hi, I don’t know if you fixed it since the comment but I find how it’s work. When you put the pack on “The Sims 4 Pack”, you have to click on the pack you want and extract the “ep” folder on “The Sims 4 Packs”. Then you have to restart the game and normally it’s gonna work.

I also got something like that so I logged into google drive, deleted all the sims files that were already stored there and then I tried again and it worked. Make sure that the amount of packs you choose doesn’t exceed 15Gb because that might also cause problems

i think you have to keep the website open for a while without doing anything to it. for, example leaving it on the website and going to sleep. It worked for me after i left it alone and someone recommended that to me.
I need some help. When I got to step 3:14 while searching for The Sims Packs, these files don't show up for me. I followed all the steps correctly, is there something I should have downloaded first? 3:14
Hiii, so I was having the same problem and I only found the folder by going to my EA library, clicking on the three dots that appear in the sims, going to "view properties" and clicking "open folder" in the "installation location" maybe they are not exactly the same names because mine is in Portuguese but I hope this helpsss

Thank you so much...for those who are having trouble with remid like I was, if you have a connecting steam account try logging in that way (especially if thats where you purchased the sims 4) if not just keep logging in and out for a moment with the blank tab left open to see if the remid pops up for you. I know its annoying but it'll work eventually :D
It keeps saying "Error: User Rate Limit Exceeds" when I hit copy on the DLC I want to download. At least my packs I've downloaded through here before the update are working now, however it won't let me download any other ones /:

Hey, i did everything you said and on the loading screen it showed me all the packs were downloaded but when I went to go close the anadius tab that said don't close till your done playing and restarted the game, it didn't work. Its showing as if I didn't download anything

When I get pass the "open anyway" and go back to the file and try to open it, it tells me "anadius is damaged and should be moved to trash" some along those lines and idk what to do from there.. I can't seem to find anything online that will help either. I did everything you did up until I clicked o the anadius file and it still came up as an error I also have the wineskin downloaded
@@LunaEllinger in the categories across the top. you might have to press an arrow to look at the other caterogies but you should see application. When you press on that, on the side it says cookies.
When I say open Anadius Tools, it does not open. It doesn't give any errors, but it doesn't open without saying anything. Could you please tell me what to do?
so you can close it while you are not playing the game, but when you want to play again go to the anadius+tools folder and click on ‘anadius tools.’ you will find the launcher window and click on ‘run dlc unlocker for the sims 4.’ it will automatically take you to the window that says ‘don’t close until you’re finished playing the sims.’ it saves your progress and you don’t have to redo the process again. hoped this helped! 💗

usually that means there’s a lot of people downloading recently. you can wait a few hours and check again or maybe use another account (not one of your personal ones for security reasons)

After selecting the dlc that I want I go to “copy” (min 2:51 ) and then just apear something that says “error (in red color) Error: user rate limit exceeded” And then I can’t do anything, literally I can’t copy any dlc Please help me 🙏🙏🙏

I also got something like that so I logged into google drive, deleted all the sims files that were already stored there and then I tried again and it worked. Make sure that the amount of packs you choose doesn’t exceed 15Gb because that might also cause problems

i think you have to keep the website open for a while without doing anything to it. for, example leaving it on the website and going to sleep. It worked for me after i left it alone and someone recommended that to me.
I need some help. When I got to step 3:14 while searching for The Sims Packs, these files don't show up for me. I followed all the steps correctly, is there something I should have downloaded first? 3:14

Hiii, so I was having the same problem and I only found the folder by going to my EA library, clicking on the three dots that appear in the sims, going to "view properties" and clicking "open folder" in the "installation location" maybe they are not exactly the same names because mine is in Portuguese but I hope this helpsss

Thank you so much...for those who are having trouble with remid like I was, if you have a connecting steam account try logging in that way (especially if thats where you purchased the sims 4) if not just keep logging in and out for a moment with the blank tab left open to see if the remid pops up for you. I know its annoying but it'll work eventually :D

try changing the dummy account or refresh. if it doesn't work try doing it after 1-2 hours I waited an hour and half and it worked

Try using Qiwi instead. Mine was doing the same thing, I just went on Reddit and found the instructions.

You might have an Adblocker on your computer. It did that for me too and when I turned that off, it started working.

Hey, i did everything you said and on the loading screen it showed me all the packs were downloaded but when I went to go close the anadius tab that said don't close till your done playing and restarted the game, it didn't work. Its showing as if I didn't download anything
UPDATE: I figured it out, you have to run the anadius tool everytime you want to play so the packs can stay unlocked

I do not see a remid either, even after signing in and out.
When I get pass the "open anyway" and go back to the file and try to open it, it tells me "anadius is damaged and should be moved to trash" some along those lines and idk what to do from there.. I can't seem to find anything online that will help either. I did everything you did up until I clicked o the anadius file and it still came up as an error I also have the wineskin downloaded

When i qiut the game and want to play for example another day, what about the window that says DONT CLOSE UNTIL U FINISH PLAYING SIMS???
so you can close it while you are not playing the game, but when you want to play again go to the anadius+tools folder and click on ‘anadius tools.’ you will find the launcher window and click on ‘run dlc unlocker for the sims 4.’ it will automatically take you to the window that says ‘don’t close until you’re finished playing the sims.’ it saves your progress and you don’t have to redo the process again. hoped this helped! 💗

@@purpleslug649 okay so i found how 😭🙏🏽 you have to choose safari at the top. The settings, click advanced and then at the bottom u have to check the “show features for web developers”
open safari > settings > Advanced > enable web inspector.That will give you the develop tab :)

usually that means there’s a lot of people downloading recently. you can wait a few hours and check again or maybe use another account (not one of your personal ones for security reasons)
