Your English has definitly improved. I have studied many languages and have experienced a lot of mercy from people that knew I was trying to learn their language. I would say to those who are rude and like to make fun of people, go learn a language and master it. You will need mercy from the native speakers. After that come back and look at what you said and how you judged someone else. Also, most native speakers of English don't speak english perfectly. Differrent countries and states and provinces speak it quite differently. It should be a source of playful humor and not hurt. For example, I was raised in Maine and then moved to California when I was 13. I had a lot of people ask me, "What language do you speak," "Maine? What country is that near?" If you judge somene like Sifu Yang because of their language skills it is your loss. He is a living treasure of Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese history, and Philosophy.

I recently noticed the same thing in regard to the way people judge others based on their command of a non-native tongue. They Miss A lot of opportunities. It seems to me.
