- this thing was TOASTED. this project had everything! a broken cage post, bad dents, rust holes, wrong globe, frozen burner. i pulled out all the stops and tried a TON or new things. tried my grid system, and used my new sand bags, made by a friend... did i get it working?? tune in and find out! tags: solder, dent pulling, J.B. @@chefbirdland yea, that soldering under foot looked kinda tricky. Good job! Btw, how did you remove the burn marks? Acetone?
@@jasper60103 that was just burnt paint. All gone after stripping paint. Yeah that cage leg was a pain. But learned I had to dig down to total bare metal for solder to bond. I wasn't digging deep enough.
