Danube River cruise with Avalon Waterways

I went on a one-week Active & Discovery Danube River cruise with Avalon Waterways from Budapest (Hungary) via Vienna to Linz (Austria). The Avalon Impression is one of Avalon's 'Suite Ships' and features luxurious staterooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that can slide open for unobstructed views.
There was a broad array of excursion options with something for everyone; from hiking and bike rides to visits to monasteries, vineyards and museums. There were also cooking classes, concerts and pub crawls as excursion options.

We booked going the opposite direction from Nuremberg for next September. It'll be our 2nd Avalon cruise covid permitting.
