Of course Sony is Dope! A7s3 for the win..Love mine using s log 3 will give u best results with the A7s 3.. Sony now leans magenta. Not green..It’s cause the way you graded footage.. Conversion done correctly is the way to go..

This was my favorite video of the series, you manipulate your colors/looks so easily! Can't wait to try some of the techniques for my footage/photos!
The correct way to convert Slog with Sony or any camera. Is to use color management in Davinci..or a conversion lut (phantom) with any other program.. the incorrect way is to take log and add saturation etc..this will give artifacts and not use the color science correctly
Appreciate the knowledge & info! I find that those conversions can be too harsh sometimes or not look how I like so I typically color & contrast on Canon myself so that was the process here as well. Overall it was fun & looked fine to me 🙌🏼

I use the correct color management settings and input for my camera..gives you a great starting point Rec 709 image..what you saw in camera. then I grade from there. The system gives you the best out of the color science.. If you ever get a Sony, and want a kick ass conversion lut.. Phantom Luts are the way to go..there are neutral ones that won’t make it look hideous when converted..Good luck homie..Keep grinding

@@CreativeRyan I love it, man. Canon wins in ergonomics and ease of use. Other than that, Sony is amazing. It’s a video first camera and I shoot weddings so it’s a perfect set up. If I want to rig it out, I can but it’s not necessary. With Canon, because of the overheating issues and the R6 not being able to record internally with a monitor, it’s tough to run and gun. The IBIS wobble sucks too. One more, DUAL NATIVE ISO. 😮💨 Overall, I’m glad I made the switch. Your videos helped me get more insight on Sony coming from a Canon guy, appreciate it!

Would be dope as fuck if you put up a list of Cameras and let the fans choose which one to do a "5 series test" on next. I been here for YEARS since the 1st lowlight LUT and I ain't going NOWHERE!
