Just saw my uncle( the drummer) this November. Heard the first two songs of his finished album. They are really bringing back the original vibes of the first few albums. They will have many guitar chords from Brandon's brother( Ben ) since he passed away of cancer. I am very pleased and am sure all Secret Machine fans will love this new album! The new album will only be My uncle ( Josh Garza, and Brandon). ❤
Please let me know any new info, Im provably their biggest fans made them a diversity r/thesecretmachines I've been so Hoping for new music from them and agree they havent been the same since Ben left us.
What a great band they were. IMO the best 3 piece ever in this original line up. I've heard nothing of them for a few years since Ben's sad death, I really hope that Brandon can put it back together and go out with his music again.
So pleased I got to see them many times live in London and New York. One of the best live bands I have ever seen, period. Their gig at the Electric Ballroom is still to this day one of my favourite gigs ever.
I was at that tour at the Wiltern and I feel the same way. I had never heard of them until that show and they fucking blew me away, left KoL feeling vey anticlimactic.
Are these people all too stoned to move. If I were there I couldn't stand still for this! One of Machines best for sure. Great quality video too. What a great live band!
I'm still listening this amazing bang !! I saw them in Paris in the early 2000. Such a good sound and a 8 stings bass guitar!!
7 років тому+1
I saw the SM for the first time when they were the opening act for U2's Vertigo Tour. Despite of the awful sound equipment they brought in to the venue they shade 2Us gig big time. Great band!!!
Jeez, I wonder if that clip contains strobe lighting. They should have mentioned that at least at one point. Great band, great song which shines when played live. Unfortunately I missed my chances seeing them live.
Saw them in Vancouver back in the day and glasses were vibrating off of the tables. They were absolutely incredible. And this song absolutely destroyed me.
too bad you left I saw them on the same tour and they were both excellent! I'm not a KOL bandwagon jumper I like them from their first album. That was one of the best combo shows I ever saw.
...allow me a simple consideration. I love both of the following, but why did Radiohead get worldwide known, and Secret Machines did not? Because art is always more intimate, while show buisness is, well... show biz. Much love for Tommy Yorke and the Radioheads (watch last Nick F*** Cage's movie), much more for true (not plastic) things.

Amazing!
First Wave Intact is a 100% anthem and shall remain an arrow in my musical quiver for the rest of my life

If you've not already heard them, he's been doing stuff under the name cosmicide with a new band. It's pretty great.
Poignant and powerful. Beautiful anthem for this age. I love this even more live
Only had the privilege of seeing TSM once, at Northumbria Uni on the Ten Silver Drops tour. One of the loudest gigs I've ever witnessed.
i remember watching this, it was by far the best thing i saw all weekend.
Tom kudos man - you're blessed to have been there. Keep spreading TSM word

The sound of that snare drum tho.. 👍
Second hand Bonehm was the style in TX/OK in the 90’s. Flaming Lips pre Drowzd.

One of my favorite live bands. This song blew me away first in my car and then at The Metro in Chicago.
I am digging that massive bass tone! Nice.
Epic! Blew me away when I saw them live in London many years back and are still gobsmacking now.

Who's still listening in 2018?

At the top of their game!

Nice bit with the 8-string Hagstrom....:)
These HQ TSM videos are incredible. Thanks!
They just fucking drive me insane!!
Fantastic !!!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
The strobe light warnings are ruining it for me. But I do love this regardless....
Such a fucking unreal band.
2024 and stilling jammn
goooooood band
Gotta love that kid at 6:38
How is that one dude sleeping? Holy crap.
The 04 set was so much better than this! Caught them three times, twice at Reading and supporting Interpol at Bristol. Sadly missed.
2:04 trippy
Over the fuckin top!
benicio del torro from fear and loathing on drums *)

Is guy a@ 6:38 about to have a seizure?
They should have stayed a secret.
