These exist because OEM rifle manufacturers REFUSE to offer high cheek stocks - even for their rifles that don't come with fixed sights.

I love these A5 atyle stocks. There is a certain clean look that really appeals to me. I have one chassis rifle. As soon as funds allow its going into the spare parts pile for something like this.

They are smart. Every one of their current stocks has adjustable LOP. I have two. I feel they are well worth the money.

What barrel length and barrel contour were you running in this video? I am considering this stock for an NRL hunter setup and I am curious how the rifle balances

@@poofy917 24-26” mtu probably. It balances fairly well. Not perfect. I think a slightly thinner barrel would be better.

Any idea how these will handle the recoil and pressure from the larger cartridges on the Lapua bolt face? .378 Weatherby family in particular?

my guess is they would handle it just fine. These are not inferior quality just because they are lightweight and cost a little less than a Manners stock for example. Most of them still incorporate a metal bedding block in them, which is the thing that's soaking up those recoil forces.

Do you feel like this would be a good option to put on a 223 trainer rifle?

Is it recommended that a rifle action needs to be bedded into these Grayboe stocks?

      Not necessary.
Some people do it anyway, but it’s not a requirement.

My original phoenix was great and all the DBM fit it like a glove. Phoenix 2 has no level and the inletting for the bm was terrible. No where near deep enough and BM protruded out a lot. I had to remove lots of material. I was fairly disappointed. Maybe i got a bad one

yeah I'd say something got mixed up at the factory on that. I haven't seen or heard of issues in quality from Grayboe. I think I would contact them. From what I know, they would happily take care of you.

@@PrecisionRifleNetwork they didn’t do much because I already had done some material and got it fairly close. But yes, they have some of the best customer service around for sure

@@PrecisionRifleNetwork they definitely have some of the best customer service around. That being said, I took some material out myself to fix it.
