When you do more of these in the future can you try to show the crew areas? I think the crew mess and cabins are some of the most interesting parts of these boats ( don't get me wrong the bridge, engine rooms and technical spaces are exceeding cool!). Passenger areas are cool but showing how the crew lives on these boats is super interesting. Especially since they have to make do with so much less but usually spend more time on the boats than the owners ever do. Well that and the only way I'd ever exp any of these boats would be as crew so it's cool to see how they live on these boats. The areas they hide crew compartments on 40-60ish boats are amazing IMO. I love the idea of a support yacht. I could have all types of toys on it, like an Icon A5, mini subs, cars, atv’s, tinders, speed boat, helicopter and anything else.
I started requiring that of my race crew and passengers in 2015. We would provision drinking water and require them to bring a water battle and tumbler for cocktails. So no red cups either. Thank You for supporting this cause.
I did always wonder if this was a thing. Mega yachts are basically just portable private hotels and the more tours you see the less room they have for toys. This obviously fits with those that want to take their yacht away from the mooring and actually have fun. For me I'd prefer the support Yacht.
You need that stairmaster, because if you went up and down those stairs right next to them over and over, neighbouring observers would think you're crazy.

Basically bringing super yachting into the upper middle class range. If u buy yacht in a tier u can rent bigger or smaller yacht from same corp in your tier level. 3 diff tier budget, luxury or premier class tier. Super yachts r premier class by definition. Mega yachts r class ultra on their own.
I know nothing about this stuff but when i heard support vessel i thought storage and crew. Food. Linens. Toilet paper. Seasonal stuff. Overflow of these supplies. And then room for a little bigger crew cabins so they could spread out a little. Possibly a medical bay and or quarantine area! Putting all that stuff on a support vessel would then free up more of the mega yacht for fancy stuff for the guests.
Thought this would be a vid on Chasing AWOL, then no, it's a new chaser on blocks at the show, then no, it's a super yacht to carry the chase and toys for a super yacht. Money on a scale we can't even imagine. Been enjoying bouncing around your vlogs. Hope you can salvage a good season this year. Smooth seas, fair winds, and corona free.
U rent the toys u want that don't fit in your yacht garage or hanger or on your deck like u rent the support vessels as needed & size needed. Some toys u own like jet ski or tiny tenders but off shore fishing vessel u rent as needed, or leave at your home ports diff trip diff passenger count.
I could see this boat as being an independent business and revenue stream. It could be subleased out to charter yachts like AWOL and others on a need basis. Not every one of your charters is going to want ALL the toys, some may be happy with just a few, and not want to pay for things not used, others may want the extreme vacation, and want some extra friends and family to enjoy it with them, then the support vessel is a perfect match. With more than one yacht using the same support vessel, with some scheduling creativity, you could make some serious money!
I was most surprised that the support vessel does not carry extra fuel for the mothership. Instead of being overpowered with 4 huge engines, there should have been an additional 20,000 gal of boat juice... Just my thoughts...
If you have your super yacht and a support vessel you're going to need an additional ship a fuel carrier if your racing across oceans with the capability to do ship to ship replenishment lol.
This is a likely to be a multi charter yacht support vessel. A day or half a day with up to two charters at any time. Toys will be in the water when guests arrive. With this in mind a guest can charter a smaller charter and take a half day or several days with this support vessel. Several charters can transfer guests through a day and the charter can move off to make room for others.
What a wonderful vessel! I think I'd prefer that to the super yacht if they had a chef. LOL I'm curious about the spray pattern from the bow cutting through the water. It seemed too turbulent. P.S: That was a shaky vid. Time for your videographer to invest in a gimbal stabilizer so we don't get seasick on land here.
As someone who never learned to swim, having a support boat follow would make me much more comfortable. I know in the worst case that the boat I was on sank, I'd just be floating in the water on a lifeboat or a life vest (swimming wouldn't come into play), but it would be nice to know I'd be picked up quickly--I don't like being in the water.
