- A tour of the Chuck E. Cheese's on Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, Florida. This tour is accompanied by music from the nostalgic September 2006 Show. As a child, I remember visiting this store around this time during a family visit to Busch Gardens, and this particular showtape brings back warm memories of me filming their once-perfect Two Stage from the old showroom balcony. Tampa opened in 1991, and once housed a Road Stage. Check out some of the retro videos from this location. Truly a sight to behold!

I've never been to this particular Chuck E. Cheese location (because I don't live in Florida), but man.....this place used to be SO magical to me as a kid. I loved everything about it. I've never been back to one since I was a kid. But I always wanted to. Such nostalgia. As a kid, I was scared to death to stand up when the animatronic puppets asked "who's birthday it was" (however the question was asked). I refused to stand. LOL!
Sad it’s being remodeled to a cheap arcade with no play areas, just a dance floor and games.

I've lived in this area before, and I always go to this chuck E cheese with my friends and family, man great memory's.
I will say, Chuck E. Cheese (Duncan Brannan) preforming Hold My Hand by Hootie and the Blowfish is pretty decent. As well as Jasper preforming Only Wanna Be With You by Hootie and the Blowfish.
Rest in peace… 2 stage… I guess I will never get to see you with my own eyes :(

You should if you could any time as of 2022 or 2023 before it's too late, there's still many locations with these animatronics

YESSS MY LOCATION IM GONNA CRY I HAVEN'T BEEN HERE FOR LIKE 6 YEARS! So much has changed, the jungle gym was replaced with bumper cars, there used to be a HUGE rocking horse ride there that you had to use a staircase to get on and I went on it all the time but that's gone too :/ they also got rid of the alien skee ball but I'm kind of fine with that because the alien animatronic terrified me as a little kid lmao

When I was a kid going to Chuck E Cheese's I played a few games, rode a few rides, but my absolute favorite part was seeing the animatronic band playing. Chuck, Helen, Munch, Jasper, and Pasqually really did an awesome job!!!

I think I may have been to this one a long time ago when I used to live in Florida, but a lot has changed. Does anyone know if this location is/was near a K-Mart?
You're probably remembering Brandon, FL. This historic store was built in 1981, and though remodeled, houses a 2-Stage just like Carrollwood. It had always existed to the right of the Brandon Kmart in the same shopping strip, until the Kmart closed very recently in 2018. The CEC still stands!

Bruh I’m 14 right now and I remember that as a small kid I was always scared of the animatronics and always s*** myself and scream all around the store because my dad tried to tell me that it doesn’t do u nothing. well I owe an apology to my dad because last time I went was in 2018/2019, and at that time, I was actually really interested on what the animatronics actually are for. It’s 2022 and it’s so nostalgic seeing these tours cause I always watched these too before.😢

We visited this Chuck e Cheese especially to see Munch's Make Believe Band which my granddaughter wanted to do so badly. We drove hours to make her dream come true. We met the most incredible your man named Grant who helped make the characters and the show incredible! Thank you Grant for doing such a nice job! It was a pleasure meeting you. They took it down, I don't know why but we still got it (Pensacola, Florida when the last time that I was there)

Legends say Chuck e Cheese use to be a place where nine year olds would have fun, eat pizza and play arcade games, until the three year olds had a great war for the Chuck e Cheese locations because the nine year olds were not letting the toddlers playing on their turf, the war lasted for weeks, months, years, until many of the toddlers and nine year olds were wiped out and injured badly, their parents told them to stop, but Chuck e Cheeses was more important then their parents. After many months of food fights, the toddlers won and the nine year olds never came back.

Here's what I don't understand. Why in 2012 did Cec entertainment announce that the mascot had to be updated? But they still have the 1995 chuck e mascot on most of the buildings! And also, they need to update the mascot on the front of all Chuck e chesses locations.
the dannatior 2003 in a mall, they have a updated version of Chuck E. Cheese
the dannatior 2003 if they already have an animatronic stage from a past generation they usually keep it. Like in the 90's all locations that opened in that decade had a 90's stage but all locations that had an 80's stage kept that stage.
ZoLexa interesting. I think that chuck e cheeses should have stayed show biz pizza. In fact, I read yelp reviews of chuck e cheese and it sucks. Only 2 or 1 stars.... A bunch of parents complain. I think if showbizpizza was still around, it would not have bad service and better service. It's a shame that showbiz pizza is gone. It was a great establishment from the videos I have seen.

CEC TFL I thought it was because in 1990, Arron got pissed at Chuck e cheese for changing the rock a fire explosion to the munches make believe band. I read a company document from creative engineering accusing Chuck e cheese of stealing the creative engineering animatronics. It's on the showbiz pizza/Chuck e cheese fan site. And in 1998, showbiz pizza time theater, (the merged name of both showbizpizza and Chuck e cheese From 1985 - 1998) became cec entertainment.
