Typically they are supported by a couple of cruisers, a couple of destroyers and one or two subs, together with support/logistics ships. Eisenhower is currently in the Med, however it’s been on ops since Oct 2023 and will be going back to US. It will most likely be replaced by the Roosevelt currently in the South China Sea.
