New Pump Track Setup!

If you saw my previous video where I went to a pump track for the first time you saw how stoked I got and was instantly hooked! So much so I decided then and there I needed a dedicated skateboard setup specifically for speed and handling required on a pump track...
Well here it is and you can see how set it up and some of my musings on the hows and and whys along with some channel news and reflections on my journey into skateboarding.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to go test it out yet due to all the rain we've been getting...

Awesome setup, but you might want to run some risers or you're gonna get hella wheel bite with those 66mm wheels and loose trucks
Yep, I’ve considered risers because I got some bite on a test roll through the house (don’t tell my wife!) but I waxed the wheel wells and tightened the trucks and it seems better now. We’ll see how the pump track goes first but I may need to add them.
Definitely at least 1/4" riser
I think we need some AJ custom boards to go with those sick ukes.
🤣 I actually have one blank deck that did my own AJStarch logo as the graphic. Maybe I’ll do another and give it away if I ever get 1000 subs! BTW, the electric uke in the background I built myself completely from scratch, in fact the neck used to be a maple tree in one of my best friends yard. One of my early videos covers the build of it if you want to check it out.

I have this board setup but I haven't figured out what it is best for yet. It is too long for my street tricks and too narrow for my bowl skating. Maybe I need to find a pump track.
Love the concave on the board.
I was bit surprised how narrow the mack was, about 8.25. I went with a bit wider truck than the board because the the front of the board is much wider.

We need to skate. What area are you in. I am in Fayetteville.
Yeah my 9” trucks fit the front well and stick out a bit in the back but I think it is going to work well for the pump track. Can’t wait to get back and try it out! I’m just south of Charlotte and definitely we should get together, I could use some tips on pools/bowls!
@@AJStarch my brother lives in Lancaster so a bit south of Charlotte. We are from San Diego but both ended up in the south east.
We will definitely get a session in. There is a new park in Troy and that is about 1:20 for both of us.
How did it handle the pump track?

They’ve pretty much are the first place I check when I need something now. They’ve got great service too if you ever have an issue.
