I got the Vitpilen 401 for the looks (sorry, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I know ;)) but I love the mechanicals of these bikes. The front brake scared the heel out of me first time I tried it.. real stick-in-the-spokes stuff if you grab a handful! 😆 great video and looking forward to more content both on and off-road!

I totally agree with the one finger braking brother. I have a RC 390 and it brakes absolutely perfect with one finger braking.
Hanging out for the 490 if they bring it out. I will never sell my 390 though. It can find a home in my shed all warm and cosy

I love the tail tidy on mine. I'm not a huge fan of that giant appendage sticking out the back and I think it makes the bike look even better.

Wish you get more options for a radiator cover in RSA, that don't cost an arm and a leg and that looks the duke part, don't like the idea of stones shooting from the front wheel..

The split down the middle of the headligth is a cooler for the ligths becuse there so good in dark💪
Small bikes are easier to ride harder for whatever reason I can still take my old clunky 250 and run circles around my street triple on a tight enough road. But maybe its because there is so much less to lose.
Probably because your skill level can max out a 250, where you can only ride your bigger bike at like 40% of its performance.

Mate, those boots look a tad heavy and thick. Great for riding (and for protection, which is what they are for), but terrible for walking those few steps to the loo at the petrol station or anywhere else for that matter. Your trim frame could opt for a sleeker fit. Pray you don’t trip or sprain your ankles in those!

No. Not a single issue in 3.5 years. The most reliable bile I ever had, and this is #15, including BMW, Triumph, Honda, Yam and RE

@@tonipepperoni5994 if you get it tuned it will probably get you a few horses, but the real perk of an akra system on a mt-07 is the incredible sound

Really would like to see KTM discover the color spectrum beyond white orange and black.
Allegedly, the orange is so that if you break pieces off the bike, especially adventure model riders, they're easier to find and recover.
can i forever solve the 390 duke vs duke 390 argument? When you speak about an RC 390 you say RC 390 not 390 RC so the duke should be called the KTM Duke 390 not KTM 390 Duke! :) hope I solved the issue for all my fellow 390 owners

This is not even a beginner friendly bike.
Also i can assure 70% of the viewers cant even come close to this bikes capabilities, including me!
I think it is really beginner friendly, low seatheight, easy handling and ergonomics, low price, abs, and a motor that is not too much to handle if you take it a little easy on the first rides
also, you can definitly get out of the bikes comfort zone as the brakes tend to get hot fast and the suspension can get a little unstable if you brake and accelerate hard.
@@jonas890r Obviously its no 100bho bike,but the throttle is super choppy ,and the bottom end can be surprising for new riders
