You prob dont need my advice, but iv found using flux rx its best to manually remove as much as possible first, because there is a phosphate spike when it breaks down the algae, manual removal can lessen it. Good luck 👍
I've got the same problem, I have chaeto in my sump and only have the problem in the sump, display is spotless. Can you use flux rx with chaeto or will it kill it off?

Did the same, reef roads and AB plus, add some turbo snails 🐌 and tuxedo urchin now never have any algae left.
I’m having the same problem, I’m trying vibrant just coz I got some but might give flux rx ago to 👍🏼
Recently had a similar problem in a new tank, I manually harvested, turndown the lights and added urchins.

I had a bunch of it too. I used Vibrant and a ton of water changes over 3 weeks and it fully went away
Also hopefully your corals don't get affected by the higher phosphates!

Yeah good shout, I have removed a lot already plus I will do a 85% water change after to bring down any po4 spikes, cheers

Flux RX is the only thing that cured my algae issues. Great product!
