I enjoyed this video a lot. Thank you! Happy 2024!
Thank you! And same to you!
Never understood the amount song of Susannah dislike there is out there. I’ve read it a couple times and always find it to be a breeze. Especially compared to book 5. But I also love how everyone’s opinions on the series from book to book vary so much.
I can't wait to read it again and see how it hits me at this point in my life!
thanks a lot, happy new year mate.
Thank you! You, as well!
I really like these videos. They remind me that I am not just a Stephen Collector, but am, first and foremost a Stephen King CONSTANT READER.
Currently reading Billy Summers and really enjoying it! I just wish that he did not let his political affiliations be revealed so often through his stories.... It is jarring to the flow.
@@drizzt8965 I was thinking that he's an atheist there is usually at least one crazy religious character in his books but he's actually a believer.
@@aihsanasl I did not know that, I don't know much about him really. I have been enjoying his stories for many years now....
That's what it's all about! The stories that have moved us all for so many years.
@@drizzt8965 I hear you! And I worry that it will make the works dated. I guess he has always included contemporary issues and culture in his books, but this feels more like an insinuation of himself than just painting a moment in time.
Love the videos! I have a question on your copy of Under the Dome -- I have that exact same edition with the pewter lettering instead of the white lettering. I have not been able to find any info on this particular variant. Everything I have seen has the white lettering. Do you have any info on how common the pewter variant is? Thanks!
Great question! And one I've been asking myself in the runup to making the first edition identification video. I have found both variants "in the wild." I picked up the white when I realized it was a thing, having purchased the pewter (perfect word to describe the color, btw!), and didn't have a hard time tracking it down here in my town. I'll let you know what I find, but I had been under the assumption they were more of a 50/50 split thing, like the variant covers of Insomnia. I may be totally wrong, though!
