I have prefer black & white charts and that the printing is large enough to easily read the symbols. All of your new releases are wonderful but I especially like the pin drum. Beautiful finishes on each and every one!
Color hands down. You can always make a black and white working computer from color but you can’t turn black and white into color. Now that my eyes are getting older the charts that are a little bigger are definitely a help. Thanks so much for your videos showing new stitches in such great detail!! ❤
If I had a choice if my favorite chart I would choose color, but I have been stitching for over 40 years and color charts is a new thing. I want to say that God blessed you with a phenomenal talent and we are just in awe each time you release new designs for use to stitch. Thank you.
Your new releases are lovely. And I can see why that pinkeep drum in your fav. As to color or b&w charts my personal favorite is color so at a glance I can see where I am. It allows for quicker stitching and fewer mistakes. It was nice seeing you again at the Craft Gallery retreat. Thank you for the hope design w/the willow tree. 💝💖💗💓🧵🪡🕊
Thank you for all you do. Im doing your I stitch pattern and i love it. So easy to read, its big and in color. I have issues with my eyes and this makes it enjoyable for me.
Originally, I didn't like the color graphs. Then when I started Hometown, I discovered that color graphs are awesome! I prefer color, but either works for me. Love your new releases. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful releases! Such creative finishing. I didn’t use to care if color or B&W patterns. However, I now use Markup RX for stitching and it is so much easier to mark off B&W charts.
Love the new designs and the way the new cross stitch charts will come. Bittersweet bird is so sweet on the paper mache box. The pin drum is amazing!! Susan’s finishing is perfection!! I prefer black and white charts because when I stitch from a paper chart I make a working copy to highlight and mark my progress. It’s very hard to make a working copy to highlight when they are in color. Happy stitching! Laura
I like charts that are easy to read. Does not matter if color or black and white - just big enough to see symbols and distinction. Thank you for asking! Love all you do! I have followed you for years with punch needle and cross stitch Love it all!
I like the black and white prints as I always make a working copy and like to use a highlighter to mark what I’ve already stitched. I have continued doing this over the years as I have a neck fused by arthritic growths. Love your designs. Really loved the oval drum finish ❤
Hi Teresa - can I ask how you mounted the Bittersweet bird cross stitch on the box? Did you put iron on interfacing on the piece then some sort of cotton batting? I would appreciate any type of brief explanation. Thanks so much!
OMG I love the Octobers chart so much! I cannot wait to get it. I like large charts that are easy to see. My preference is color charts. It just adds to the ease of reading and stitching for me. The colors help me see where I need to switch colors and just makes counting easier for me as well.
I just love your new designs and the finishing. You do such a lovely job in designing! Personally I just like a chart that’s clear and easy to read, doesn’t matter if it’s colored or black and white.
I really appreciate when designs are in color. It is very hard to look at large patterns with thousands of symbols. I love your books. I have several that are very easy to follow your color patterns.
Great new designs! I personally like black and white charts when I have a paper chart. I make a working copy and use a highlighter to mark off what I’ve stitched.
I can stitch from color and black/white charts, and truly have no preference. The color of the printing would never interfere with my enjoyment of the project. I’m definitely going to attempt punch needle; they are so adorable, Teresa. Love all your new releases but the drum is stunning.
The patterns are outstanding! I prefer black & white because I make working copies and my copier/printer only does black & white. I make working copies to record color changes and counting mistakes and also to reduce wear and tear on the originals.
OMG!! You just keep out doing yourself!! I will admit I was admiring your stitching of bittersweet bird at the Craft Gallery Retreat and wondering how you were going to finish it!! ♥️it and that drum!! They are ALL Beautiful! Love the card stock patterns, either way is fine, but my aging eyes prefer the color. Thank You for sharing your Art! ♥️🪡🧵🤗
Teresa, I’m back to stitching after a 20 or so year break. I went to Shepherds Needle Saturday for the first time and was blown away at the quality of your printed charts…I kept saying it over and over ‘look how NICE these are!’ Anyway, I have horrible vision and I appreciate a very clear chart with lots of contrast. B&W or color doesn’t matter much, it’s the contrast for me. That being said, your charts are on such nice heavy paper, and the colors are vivid - they totally stand out. ❤️ There are a few designers I’ve purchased from that have thin, cheap copy paper and TINY charts with terrible symbols. No matter how much I love the chart, I will not be a repeat buyer of a designer who forces me to blow things up just to make it useable. Keep up the great work, you’re much appreciated! ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful new releases, i love black and white charts as you can use a highlighter , however, if i love the piece I'm going to stitch it no matter how it is charted 😁
Love your new releases. My favorite is the drum. I like charts that are a little bit bigger so it's easier to read the symbols. I don't care if their black and white or color.
Fabulous new releases! I prefer a black and white chart because I mark the chart as I stitch and it's hard to distinguish my markings on a color chart. 😊
Wow, such amazing designs. I love them all, but I Octobers is my favorite. I love the fall season and it’s absolutely beautiful. I don’t have a preference for color or black and white charts as long as I can easily identify the symbol. Lately, I prefer a PDF pattern. I view them on my iPad and it’s super easy to see.
It doesn’t matter if it’s color or black and white as long as the symbols are clear … love your two bird patterns in cross stitch … I will definitely be ordering them … thanks for sharing your work and until next time Happy Stitching 🧵 … 😊❤ Dena
Everything is adorable!! I almost bought that shirt @ the show! It looks too cute on you! Just love love that oval drum finish! It really is perfect for that design!! Hugs from NE Ohio.
I was in their booth a couple times and never even saw the shirts until Jann bought one! lol! I was so busy looking at all the pretties I skipped right past the shirts. It was so good to see you and spend time with you at Sauder.
Color for me is easier to read, but a big part is having them be big enough to discriminate between symbols. Love your new releases. I might have to break out my punch needle!
I prefer black and white charts, as it much easier to mark my stitches with my colored pencils. Great new pattern format…..front cover more true to color and one doesn’t have to mess with the new “cheaper” flimsy plastic bags. Wonderful new patterns!
I like colored patterns, but that's my personal preference. When I create cross stitch patterns for my shop, I design in color. For me, the black and white shapes blend together after a while. 😂
What an incredible designer you really are Teresa! I've followed you for years and love love love your designs. I just love those birds! The drum is the one I'd love to make. It's BEAUTIFUL! I love the color. Your patterns are truly one of a kind. 🥰 Thank you for all you do Teresa.
Such wonderful releases 😊 absolutely adore Bittersweet bird and can’t wait to have it up this fall. I prefer color charts if I’m getting physical charts. Makes it easy to stitch without going cross eyed 😵… If I’m getting digital charts that work with apps like Pattern Keeper, then b&w charts work better 😊
beautiful new charts, as always. I definitely prefer a black & white chart for two reasons. 1) I use Markup RXP app to stitch from and it is easier for the app to find the B&W symbols and to see which have been worked 2) I've noticed on some colored charts that the symbols at the crease of the chart get rubbed away and it is are hard to determine what it should be. No color charts for me unless I really have to have the chart and its the only way it comes.
Hi Teresa...LOve your charts...you asked so I will tell you...I love black and white charts...I find they are MUCH easier to read...I buy the colored ones but don't like them as much...Hope that helps!
I have prefer black & white charts and that the printing is large enough to easily read the symbols. All of your new releases are wonderful but I especially like the pin drum. Beautiful finishes on each and every one!

I love all of your new designs. I personally prefer black and white charts. Thank you for taking the time to share your new releases. ❤
Hello! Love the birds made into that oval drum. So different and beautiful! I like my charts in black and white.
If I had a choice if my favorite chart I would choose color, but I have been stitching for over 40 years and color charts is a new thing.
I want to say that God blessed you with a phenomenal talent and we are just in awe each time you release new designs for use to stitch. Thank you.
I am so thankful I took your class at Sauder Village. I finally feel confident enough to do Punch needle. You are an excellent teacher! 😊
Thank you. Teaching doesn’t come naturally to me. I’m glad to know I was helpful.

Black and white is my preferred instruction color. Love all of your patterns.
Thank you for all you do. Im doing your I stitch pattern and i love it. So easy to read, its big and in color. I have issues with my eyes and this makes it enjoyable for me.
I like patterns in color, it helps with seeing the color changes. thanks, I love your work!
Originally, I didn't like the color graphs. Then when I started Hometown, I discovered that color graphs are awesome! I prefer color, but either works for me. Love your new releases. Thanks for sharing!
I love colored charts so many designers use similar symbols that are very hard to tell apart. Your new designs are beautiful
Absolutely beautiful, all the pieces! Now I really need to work a punch needle and a wool felted piece ❤
Beautiful releases! Such creative finishing. I didn’t use to care if color or B&W patterns. However, I now use Markup RX for stitching and it is so much easier to mark off B&W charts.

I love the colored charts, am a fan of Primrose Cottage charts. Elderly here, much easier to follow. Love your new designs 💕
Love the color charts, so much easier to read. Love all your new releases!
I like the black and white prints as I always make a working copy and like to use a highlighter to mark what I’ve already stitched. I have continued doing this over the years as I have a neck fused by arthritic growths. Love your designs. Really loved the oval drum finish ❤
Amazing new releases! I was so excited to see your new designs. I prefer color charts because on some designs it really does make it easier to read.
Hi Teresa - can I ask how you mounted the Bittersweet bird cross stitch on the box? Did you put iron on interfacing on the piece then some sort of cotton batting? I would appreciate any type of brief explanation. Thanks so much!
I prefer the black and white charts. Thanks for all the work you do in your designs.
I ordered the October stitch the second I saw it! I love all of your designs - they are just beautiful.
Beautiful new releases! I prefer to stitch on color charts, however I will stitch a chart that is black and white. Thanks Janine
Black and white is my preference. I usually mark off my stitches and it’s harder to do with a color chart. Thank you for your beautiful charts!
I like colored or black and white as long as they're not printed on glossy or shiny paper. I'm stitching Sacred and the chart is great. Thank you.
Love your new releases. I love your colour charts, and don’t feel the need to mark off as I go because of the colour 👋🇳🇿❤️🪡
OMG I love the Octobers chart so much! I cannot wait to get it. I like large charts that are easy to see. My preference is color charts. It just adds to the ease of reading and stitching for me. The colors help me see where I need to switch colors and just makes counting easier for me as well.

I can stitch from color and black/white charts, and truly have no preference. The color of the printing would never interfere with my enjoyment of the project. I’m definitely going to attempt punch needle; they are so adorable, Teresa. Love all your new releases but the drum is stunning.
Love your new releases! I prefer color as long as the symbols are also colored on key and pattern is easy to read.
The patterns are outstanding! I prefer black & white because I make working copies and my copier/printer only does black & white. I make working copies to record color changes and counting mistakes and also to reduce wear and tear on the originals.
