I was so lucky to drive her for 5660km and then Sold her for about 8000over what I paid with the over sticker...the same day I sold her I bought a carbonized grey track pack! Just ppf Ed satin and have now 150km on it. I can feel all the differences you described. This car rocks big time. As a kid I was dreaming of Lamborghini and f40 Ferrari. After this gt500 track pack I'm sure those dreams are whiped out! So cool to be blessed to own both cars in this crazy times!:)

Excellent video and content. I’m looking into picking up a GT 500 with a track pack but my only fear is that I’ve heard if you have a lot of roads with pot holes that they will destroy those rims.
Check behind the wheels because for Carbon Fiber Track Pack they used to keep the plastic for the suspension, and that what makes them very stiff, there are some vids talking about them also, just go to any place remove the tires and check it

changing tires on GT500 or Z07 will make a MASSIVE changes. The Cup2 are GREAT on track but there's many better and long lasting tires for the street IE Mich 4S
Agreed - I never got to change the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S which came on the base car - if I had kept it, would have tried the Cup 2S. The lighter rolling mass through Carbin fiber wheels, the tires and different suspension tuning do the trick. I am running Michelin Pilot Super Sport on my Z07 and had Cup 2s in the past on that car. Hey there - thank you. I tried several go pro mounts starting with the head mount to shoulder. Did not get the right angle. The one I settled was a gooseneck Jaws mount on sun visor (primary video while driving) with GoPro Hero 10 on wide settings.) Secondary driving video was iPhone 13 Pro Max on windshield. The "shopping cart" wing is a non-starter for me. Perhaps I'm a bit too old school for the "Fast & Furious" import look. I also have a preference for the comfort seats vs Recaros as well as street vs track rubber compound. Having said that, I really, really dig the CF wheels and lower ride height. Wish Ford offered CF wheels without wing, tires and Recaros. Would have selected that over my current '22 non-CFTP.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts boss - I think they did have a 10k option for you to get the Wheels only but for some reason that is not in exposed CF finish but shitty gloss black!
@@HotRodsDFW They did for MY 21. It was called the Carbon Fiber Handling Package. It was the handling Package with the CF rims painted black. Didn't bring it back for MY22. Probably due to supply chain issues.
I actually bought the base with all the options just because I didn't want the carbon fiber wheels, I'll never track the car and I don't need to wait months or spend like 6k for one wheel cause it's damage or basicly ruins my daily enjoyment everytime there's a little nick or scratch on the wheels. The rear seat delete should be an option, another turn off for me, I owned another mustang previously and I get it, the rear seats are not "rear seats" yes it's unconfortable as hell, but still legually doable. Other things I didn't like was the Cup 2, waste of money, my 2 cents, those stockers will come off and get replace with M/T radial anyways and I'll have a set of 18 rear drag wheels for track. the only thing that really caught my attention from the carbon fiber pack was the ride height, just ordered the 4x springs.
About to pull the trigger on a gt500 carbon track pack and first mod will be to get a supercharger whine mod kit. Dont understand why ford decided to not have the supercharger whine.
You won’t be disappointed a bit with the CFTP - best of luck on the purchase! Agreed on supercharger whine - I installed the JLT Big Intake and that helped a bit - the video is on the channel.

Beautiful car. I got to laugh though when your driving and your hands are shaking violently on the steering wheel. That ride doesn’t look comfortable for a long haul on typical beaten up roads.

That’s the cup tires they are wide and especially if it’s cold the car drifts side to side, I had 2017 350R. When I first got it I thought something wrong with the wheels then after tires warm up they stick to the asphalt better, and driving in the rain it’s scary
