I'm in East Texas. We were zone 8A. My neighbor always planted on Good Friday. He had a beautiful garden. I really miss him.
Sorry to hear that
Hey Tracy, I’ve had the pink Turks Cap in my garden for about 3 years. It’s grown and survived just fine! Even made it through the polar plunge last Dec. You’re probably a half a zone warmer than me too. Good luck with yours! Loving this series! 🌸🌱🌱
Oh wow! That is good to know! Thanks Melanie!
I love to organize stuff so all this you were teaching this morning was fascinating and exciting for me. This is such a fun time of year for gardening. All the seed shopping, the planning, the dreaming. I’ve been waiting on the defrost (today💚) to head to hobby lobby for some photo organizers. They are 14.99 there and lots higher on amazon. I’ve never heard of scarification or cold stratification until you taught that last year. Thanks as always and happy garden planning. 📓 🖊️ 🩶

Yes! I agree this is a fun time of year planning and dreaming for our future gardens! 🫶
I've said it before, I love this series!
Thank you! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it!
I am so eagerly awaiting being able to start my seeds. March thru May is when I start up here in the frozen north. Counting the days! 💖💖💖
Stay warm!
That was great 👍 thanks 😊
Thank you for watching!
Great video😊
Thank you 😁
In MA plant after Mother’s Day …
Wow!
Boy needed this one. But my last frost date is May 15th. Last spring had two very late snap freezes not frost that really messed us up. Ughhhh. Night temps didn’t get above 50 consistently til June. Think I need to move. LOL
Alabama is a great place to live. 🎉
Oh goodness! That would be difficult to get use to!🥶
Yes! I agree!

Tracy, is it possible to start seeds indoors without grow lights?
It is not impossible but difficult, you have to make sure once the seed emerges you get it to a good light source.
