- Mike Weirsky couldn't believe his luck when he saw he had hit it big. "It still hasn't hit me," he told Inside Edition. The Alpha, New Jersey, man won last Friday's $273 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot, but he now finds himself in a bit of a pickle. Weirsky got divorced about five months ago. During the course of his 15-year marriage, Weirsky never once worked while his ex-wife, Eileen Murray, supported him. Even now, she's paying him court-ordered alimony. #InsideEdition
He should give the cashier some money for keeping the ticket for him
He should give the cash register man at least 10 million dollars
Donald king Eh more like 5
ZIROS yh i agree
True the man could have kept it to himself and won that money
@@melvinmeow6415
❎ Now way the cashier could have kept it. He was on camera and it was time stamped. The lottery commission checks everything
He should have gave the cashier like 3 million for doing that
bailliehitman cashier get money from the winning... also they get the publicity from the news
Should have given*
Not should have gave
Robert Williams grammar
I wouldve gave him like 20mil
*And yet I always win a $1 from a $1 lottery ticket...*
at least you get your dollar back
😁 I can't even win that much
I win $0
I spent $7 and just win $1
Melta force, ME TOO!!!!!!😑😑😑😑
I think that he should’ve gave that dude like 1 mil or something for saving him from losing
Give the cashier a million at LEAST for the help
I would have gave him a few mill For holding that ticket for me

Igor Donzelli rightttttt
I would give her absolutely NOTHING!!
Do the right thing? YOU LEFT HIM! He shouldn't give her a dime.
I agree
Apparently, she grew tired of supporting his lazy, sorry ass. Bad for her but hopefully Karma will work out for her.
@@mrfringlish You don't know the full story.
I dont remember that part.
She worked for 15 years while he didn't work at all. She fed and housed him. She deserves some of the money. He was leech
I dont know why I enjoy watching Inside Edition
Thomas The Tank Engine same
I would be the person to get a winning ticket and give it to a random person out of kindness. Just my luck...
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🙏🏽💪🏽
he doesn’t need to give that woman any money
Fr
But a good lawyer will make sure he does.
ritrexxx yeah but you need women for sexual pleasure. Which by the way, sex is a very difficult thing to get.
@@adminsender906
🆗 my 75 year-old mom is available
Jake Sullivan She won’t have the good lawyers, he would.
Its his money let him do what he wants
He wouldn't have the money if it was not for the cashier
@@c.1211 Have a blessed life. You'll need it with that attitude.
Out of all people that horrible man had to win😒
Exactly
Proving good things happen to bad people. He just gave the cashier "A hand shake".
He may have given him money off camera, just because you didn't see it on camera don't mean he didn't give him some of the money off camera.
The amount of money he gave the cashier has never been publicly disclosed. Therefor you don’t know what he gave him.
He’s just acting like this because he won. I’d give some money to the store clerk, good guy.
Mike: omg thanks cashier u made me get 270.000.000 dollars
K cya later....
They’re not married anymore that bond was given up. That’s part of being married. You’re supposed to support each other through thick and thin but once you’re divorced you’re not obligated to hold that stands anymore, I don’t believe he owes her a dime. If they were married however I would say he would I will have
I definitely agree! I'm glad someone else her has some decent, insightful thinking. When I heard that lady say 50% I was absolutely disgusted.
That poor woman had to support this dick for 15 years while he sat home and did nothing. He doesnt deserve any of that money. My parents work everyday of there god damn lives and barely have anything. This dude doesnt work for 15 years and is rich.
@@meganbyrne7417 your parents didn't decide to bet into the game and take a Gamble. this guy did he bought a ticket and now he won. Also you spelled the word their wrong.
First thing I would do is hire a financial advisor buy me a house and give that cashier some cash 😭
Lucky lucky man
Screw his ex
I need that money rn🙃
MY LIFE IS A MEME MY LIFE IS PATHETIC
How was the job interview?
zues lol
Didn’t get the job unfortunately but I am still seeking for another opportunity
MY LIFE IS A MEME MY LIFE IS PATHETIC
What a loser 😤
@@duck3470 Nah you the loser
@@LS-eh7jn shut up
The wife doesn’t deserve 50%, not even close. She should get maybe 5%. She didn’t spend anything even close to that supporting him. The cashier should be getting like 2% aswell. He couldn’t have used the ticket conserving everything is time stamped but still he helped him out
Ex wife of 5 months
She doesn’t deserve anything.
Wow, If I won that I would give the cashier some money for being honest, like around $1,000,000-$3,000,000. The winning guy sounds really selfish, the cashier could have kept it and taken all of the money for himself but he did the right thing and gave him the ticket back. He deserves something 😒
The cashier did not know it was a winning ticket. My came back before the drawing.
Cashier should get some money for saving them for him for sure but how much is enough you think?🤔
✔ Cashier was doing his job, no way he could have kept that ticket. I say 💲100
EDDIE+ A MILLION FOR HOLDING THE TICKET, YOU SHOULD STOP DOING CRACK OK
1 million
1000.000 dolar
294milion dollars🤒
WHAT ABOUT THE ASSISTANT MANAGER HE CAN GIVE HIM SOME MONEY 💴 🙁 HE WAS SO HONEST
Right on...
He should give her some... I mean she was paying him alimony the entire time. He should give her back everything she paid him...
Generally, an ex-wife has no rights to money her spouse earns after a divorce. Mike being the good guy that he is would probably have given her something for old times sake, but now that she is taking him to court, he may not be so generous. The good Samaritan who found the tickets and handed them to the cashier is the REAL hero, not the cashier. The cashier in this video is saying he found them. Other articles say a customer found them and handed them in. We need to see the store video to be sure. Mike has already said that when that good Samaritan is identified, he will take care of them.
Good point
And I thought winning 5 bucks from those made me rich...
What's the moral thing to do?
The answer to that question is simple keep every cent of the winnings
You should spend 50 million on hookers and drugs and the rest he should spend foolishly LOL.
It was your choice to give him money now it's his choice
You know for damn well that cashier would have taken the ticket if he knew that was a million dollar ticket
It was much more than 1 mil lol
The lottery is a all or nothing, he would’ve never known he was going to win so he should keep it and if he’s giving money to anyone then give it to the cashier
It's really nice to see that that clerk was honest☆☆☆☆☆
Now I know why his wife left him
She shouldn't have divorced him
All she had to do was wait a couple more months
Dont give her any but give some to the man at the shop
The ex wife is making it about her, like you did those things for him before cause you’re a team not cause you were were expecting something so no the moral thing to do would be nothing cause you’re an ex. A nice gesture would be giving you some money
He shouldn't give his ex anything
I can tell he is going to do drugs and he should not give her the money
Wow that's a lot of money. Now his new friends and families will get close.
Do you reply to comments?
I love this story! 'Don't know him but I'm super happy for him!🌝💖
Interesting. I hope he rewards the honest clerk
Good luck and be very careful with new friends and family honing on you. Except the ex wife and cashier!
Good thing he didn't give his ex any money
Why is it a thing in America that when u a millionaire u have to give your ex half or more of what u have, I guess that why alot of gold diggers look for millionaires
He does not owe his ex a penny
*That's what I was saying because I bet if it was reversed and a man supported a woman for years, but it was a bad marriage and she divorced him, then won the lottery, I doubt she'd give her ex a dime.*
1:07 thats what she said
how much after tax ????
Grew up in nj and just seeing the quick check logo brings back so many memories of stealing juicy drop pops
Wow, that's awesome!!
The worker was like you gonna give me a mil
Good guy lol if he knew what it was worth no way he would give it back😂😂😂
That's what I said lol if it was me who found that damn ticket and knew what it was worth I would be on a Island drinking Out of empty coconut shells.
I watched this on ABC news and he said he's going to give the guy money.
1:07 that’s what she said 😂😂😂😂
This is the nicest person every 🙏🙏🙏
I live in the same town as him. I also go to that same quick check all the time. Omg
Savage, I respect him.
Congratulations!
The store clerks punching air rn
He should give the assistant manger some of that money, thats truly the right thing to do.
He's a POS if he doesn't give her anything. I'm sure the reason why she didn't want to get back with him was because he was clearly living off her and a sorry excuse of a man. He should at least give the cashier something for keeping it for him too. The cashier could have easily signed it and kept it for himself but he did the right thing. If this guy doesn't do right by them, I wouldn't be surprised if he spends most of his winnings and ends up broke like most lottery winners.
❎ Wrong. The lottery commission checks camera and time stamp. If the cashier kept that ticket he *would have been busted*
no u
He should keep every cent of his winnings
You can see his true character here-and your's. His sorry ass allowed his dingy wife to take care of him and FINALLY she got tired of supporting this loser. Unfortunately, Karma didn't work in this situation.
*The dude has a million dollars and he doesnt even buy some nice clothes.*
He better write that guy a check
He should give his ex some of it.
And the cashier too.. he could have very well kept it himself.
People who win large amounts don't care and don't even bother to tip those cashier..
I hope he gives him some money
that ex wife gonna come crawling back
Hate me for saying this but I think he shouldn’t give his ex anything.
why the hell is it always these oldies who only have 30 years left. Like I got a lot more to go i deserve this 😤😤
😞fr
"Half"? Yeah no.
She should only get 5% that's I think 5.5 million dollars or more
That's over 10 million if he won over 200 million. Stop playing robolox and learn some more arithmetic.
Its just my opinion, but I think he shouldve given the cashier 1 million, and his ex wife 15 million. 1 million for every year she took care of him.
is he going to hit that cashier with at least 5 million!"
He should give some to the worker who found the ticket 😭😭😭
I’d quit working, find the person that person that turned and give them $5 million dollars, move to a gun friendly state, and never return to a liberal state!
He already didnt work for the past 15 years. He is a scumbag
Congratulations 😊 👏
mike must give 1% of jackpot to phil campolo
Hell no! Now he has the money! He could buy 100 new wife's now!😂
I think 10 or 15% of the money is good but half you need to chill out what's with all these women wanting more
10-15%? Your crazy he owes her nothing keep that alimony coming baby
He should give it all away NOW before he has a obvious heart attack
Is his name Earl ?
What a nice guy the cashier
Follow up plsss
He’s a lucky man I would love to have money like that
He should give some money too the cashier. Not the ex...
Greedy man. He didn’t even offer a reward for the assistant manager.
He is not obligated to give her a damn thing, being divorced then wins, just stop the alimony and be rid of her for good.🧐
You deserved that break, Sir.
Give your ex-wife like $10k but that Cashier worked at least 25k
This guy apparently contacted me and said he would give me 30 grand
I hope he at least gave the cashier some money
I think a good amount would be 15 million for the ex like 1 million for every year she supported him and for sure give money to the store clerk
Pay the assistant manager
He should've gave the money too the cashier
Sue and let a judge and jury decide, because 9/10 times she will get the money.
Hey kid ill buy you everything in the store today heres 30 grand lol
why is the cashier still working he should honestly compensate him
Don’t give her no money
Does he have an Instagram?
Its his money HIS MONEY he should give some too the cashier tho.
If he throws anyone some cash it should be the cashier that kept the ticket safe. I agree that his ex wife could use a little bit of a reimbursement for taking care of him but still that is totally his call.
The winner should give the worker some of that at least a mill
And then, He woke up.....
Kudos to his wife for not selling out that's right baby you keep your integrity apparently he has none
