Yeah ! He used to stammer since his childhood......the pressure during stammer blocks on the vocal cords makes you capable enough of making various voices
I too stammer and can make various different voices perfectly......sometimes curse can give you some sort of exceptional talent too
The Song for Amit was to show that so many criminals don't get caught and they are enjoying their lives and The lives they destroyed are suffering It shows how shallow it is

In the movie the song was unnecessary it was the time of remixes and 1 item song to boost hype

If only Raees was not released on the same day after multiple release date changes. Kaabil although a very big hit would have been a blockbuster. This was dark, this was pure evil but that's reality. The makers didn't shy away to show how life could be dark especially for the weak and the disabled

@@vaishalilodh21 there's tons of articles that support SRK misusing his powers to get the support of film distributors and exhibitors when his movies are in a clash with any other big actor's movie, the most recent one being Dunki vs Salaar and please for god's sake stop supporting him in every other scenario he's not always right it's just that he is very charming and witty to get things done his way!!!!

Basically this movie shows the reality of corruption and misuse of power. If ur feeling uncomfortable then its gonna have more impact on your morals which is totally what Kaabil was aiming for.

ironically, the 2 villains (brothers Ronit and Rohit Roy) are Hrithik's childhood, school buddies and famous TV and romcom actors! first time they both starred as evil characters together!
This is Hrithik's one of Top most performance. He mimics all of the voices he delivered himself. Playing blind man character with so much conviction and believable. His expression as a blind, his body movement looks so connected. He is a great source of talent. A dark action thriller drama with Brilliant execution. ❤❤
I have a feeling this film should've been released with a disclaimer. While it is a decent thriller, it is very triggering and dark
I agree with Steph, the performance of Hrithik and Yami, and their love story was so perfect that it completely overshadowed the revenge plot! Still, this is a really underrated movie of Hrithik.

I can understand. It is a tough subject and hence not everyone's cup of tea. But these kinda things do happen and the rich and powerful get away.
When injustice becomes the norm, revenge ceases to be an exception.

I agree with both of them. For me, this is such a great movie with wonderful performance by both Hrithik and Yami, also the dialogues are fantastic. But this movie is too dark, that I haven't watch this movie since the first time I watched it (which is way back in 2017) until now. And I think I won't watch again, at least not until a couple of years later...

Only Hrithik Roshan has done roles that no Indian actor could do, and 3 incredible roles, 3 disabled roles. KOI MIL GAYA, GUZAARISH, and KAABIL. He played the disabled role in these 3 films. No one else has done such roles.

We never try to accept the reality when it makes us uncomfortable and hard to grasp cause we live in the bubble and bursting it means getting out of the belief system we have been living in. But reality is this much unjust for some people. And imagine even after all this there is hope.
Expected you guys to understand a bit more but nonetheless it was a good one. I got another perspective to have from your views.
Ig we as Indians can understand it more deeply as we have seen such cases happen in our country. With the nirbhaya case and many more that are deeply traumatizing to even listen to.

This is such an underrated movie, with Hrithik and Yami both not getting enough credit for their amazing performances here. This also shows the reality of the nature of corruption and misuse of power in our country, sadly. We live in a society where the people in power can easily manipulate the police and commoners for their personal interests, and often the criminals with political backing roam around freely while the victims either die or suffer in silence.
For another underrated movie of Hrithik, watch Guzarish (Sanjay Leela Bhansali).

All I can say with confident Indians loved this movie
The live plot is phenomenal so do the revenge story
Its a not a typical masala movie
But the two genres joined so well
Haven't disagreed more with you folks. Steph especially seems to be really unappreciative of many parts of the film just because she is sensitive to what was displayed. The film showing those horrific things was 100% necessary to generate a real strong emotional response of rage and feeling wronged and unjustly treated. If it was sanitized then the emotions would simply not hit as hard. This is supposed to be a dark revenge thriller so it absolutely makes sense that the filmmakers made the choices they did in order to to sell the absolute devastation and the sense of why would such genuinely kind-hearted people be so wronged. Those moments give the film it's staying power and make it more unsettling and compelling. All in all a terrific revenge thriller with a stunning Hrithik Roshan performance that was also extremely well supported by a great Yami Gautam as Su.

Were people laughing when she was raped or when she committed suicide? Tell me. I'm sure no-one did. Also, even sarabjit movie has songs & if steph can't handle watching kaabil, imagine them watching sarabjit. Do you know how many Indian people come to protest & do candle marches etc for rape victims in India. A lot. Compared to other countries. So don't tell me Indians have less maturity & that they don't care until it happens to themselves because of your theatre experience.
On a sort of positive note... A comparison more like... There's this bit on "Mon Amour," where Hrithik's look reminded me of a very particular scene with Al Pacino dancing with Gabrielle Anwar in "Scent of a Woman." The way his eyes get so big, and he's not looking at anything.
PS. Though I gotta say... As a Spanish speaker (that's my first language), this is a small pet peeve... The title is in French!? When the type of melody in the song + the non-Hindi line are in Spanish! Big Groan! LOL! Even then... ❤ that song!

This song in the middle is for the same feeling you guyz getting as this is the reality of such losers in society that they do all stuff still they are free for these absurd enjoyable moments and this is what the director has shown you people here .....this is the best realistic and most relatable movie on these incidents ever made and i literally was in tears for the first time in my life by watching all those incidents happening to such innocent people and not getting justice soo be with it this the reality and awesome storyline as the end of the movie serves such people rightiously

Revenge is more fun when the hero has been tortured so much. It is sad that people these days have become so emotionally weak that they are unable to watch such movies. Because "Savageness" is more fun through action than through talk. Thats why i would call these movies more "savage" than the movies coming out today.
They can't even watch a dark movie, And obviously reality is darker than any movie. In reality rohan would have never gotten revenge.

in my opinion we’all are just running away from the reality, obviouslyobviously we live in the west where disabled people get a lot of help from the government like job money financing everything but in the 3rd world countries where I came from, where there are bad and evil people in those regions of world in. my opinion this movie was to make to show the world that there are evil atrocities happening to disabled people that need help.
of course it was hard to watch but we must watch it to make this world a better place to live❤

Andrew is so pure.. He always needs a few minutes to recover from a sad scene. Meanwhile Steph is simply pissed.
This is one of Hrithiks best movies ever. The movie Vaada kinda had the same plot. But we did not see awfully allot of the wife. Basically she kills herself because she gets tortured b her ex boyfriend ho was very violent when they were in a relationship. And because of his jealousy he causes her now husband to get temporarily blind. But before he could tell her he could see again, she dies. And so the revenge starts as a fake blind man.
i recommed you guys to watch Guzaarish film of Hrithik Roshan, Aishwariya directed by SLB
Didn’t watch it more than 1 time, impacted the BO as well….great acting….but it’s a hard watch
