Haven’t seen that in a long, long time.
Just when I thought they had used up every Blade Runner trope in the book (er, film), and hit all the key words from baby's first star wars, certain I understood the extent of how crappy this pile of shit really is...somewhere between the main villain singing nursery rhymes while skip jumping quite well and Jesus's Spaceship the Big Jerusalem showing up...my mind cracked, existentially, and I realized things can always get worse. Feeling I've been violated, "white of the eyes, dark within" style.
Like I said, the barrel has no bottom. Feeders is exponentially worse, and I've seen films even lamer than that, not in terms of production quality, but just in terms of being so utterly boring.
Main Character:"Jesus Christ is coming back."
Me: "wat"

This is my theory: this was originaly a video game with live action and they scrapped it and edited a movie out of it.
I’m almost sure it was a CD-Rom game. If it wasn’t, I really have no idea when I saw this.

I reckon the worst movie ever made is like that Monty Python skit about the joke so dangerous it could kill. Anyone who has seen the truly worst film died a quick but painful death. The dream pod was equipped to illuminate places where "the sun don't shine" normally... check out the floor lights

I always said that "The Day the Clown Cried" is the worst movie ever made since it was never released. But! Supposedly "The Day the Clown Cried" will be release sometime in mid 2024...

I think of the Peaks material as amongst the "new" stuff, myself. When I think of my older stuff, I think of things I made during the '90s...I've been at this a while.

the worst movies are the ones lacking any attempt at creativity. you can find countless ones out there on low rent streaming services now. they make no attempt at story, visuals, audio, pacing, etc. This is just a bad movie but has some curious entertainment value which is obvious when paired with reviewers like yourself and even at time it was released I'm sure even the people who watched and thought it sucked thought it was better than watching paint dry. There are the movies and I use that term loosely that I mentioned above that I'd rather be alone with a paint drying wall with my thoughts.

Raising Cain is the worst Major Motion Picture Studio release. It has 10 times more dream within a dream sequences as this by multiple charcters. I saw it because I didnt beleive the movie could possible be as awul as the review described, and not be 'so bad its good' .

Hey, where can I get or watch this movie? I absolutely cannot find any VHS or DVD release of it anywhere and there are no links I can find searching the name.
Honestly, I have no idea. The only reason I even know about it is that we rented it from Blockbuster back in '95 or so and made a crappy 6-hour VHS copy of it to show to some friends, which is why the copy I used for this review looks so lousy and has poor tracking. I heard once that there was some special edition version that had done new effects, but I've never seen that, so it may be a myth.

You do realise that lots of people will now look for this piece of shit film and I thought the early 90s captain America film was bad, which it is but thank fuck I will never put myself through this film. Thanks for going through it so the rest of us don't have to apart from the people that will watch it just to say they have seen the worst film ever.
Well, except the point was that this WASN'T the worst ever. It was just one of a million possible candidates, none of which are likely the worst, either.

What model camera are you using?
That was a Sony VX3, the last model they made before they started making DV cameras. It was top of the line for its day in 1995, but it looks hopelessly primitive now. It died during the making of episode 4.

Actually, it was used for the intro for episode 5, but by then the microphone had totally died, and the shots had to be overdubbed; hence, there's no other on-cam shots in that video.

I think the huge success of MST3K demonstrated that that's true for a lot of people. Nothing's quite like an unintentional comedy.
