DFU Mode does not delete anything. You can even return from DFU Mode, just by again press volume up, volume down and then hold the side button to force a restart. I have just tried it myself to verify my claims and yes, the iphone is back up and running. Restoring the iPhone from DFU mode using iTunes will however whipe everything from the device. If you intend to recover your iPhone using the DFU mode, you should disable the "search my iPhone" feature. Otherwise, the restore process won't wipe everything from your phone, which is the whole point of restoring an iPhone from DFU mode. However, after restoring and setting up your iPhone, feel free to re-enable "search my iPhone" again.

Stellar turns out to be the best software for iphone recovery. COz when I tried to restore itunes backup, it was restoring the entire data which I did not even want. I wanted a few pictures and this software helped me get only those

Maybe he means that his coffee maker doesn't work, because without specifying make, model, and the exact steps he has tried so far, it can be anything that's not working, right? lol It has certainly worked just fine on my iPhone X by carefully following the instructions in this video. The key-presses and exact timing are a bit tricky at first, so there's gonna be a lot of frustration. xD
HELP. My screen just randomly went black. I text my son & when I went to check to see if he text me back I noticed my screen was black. I tried calling my phone from a friends phone & it goes straight to voice mail so I know my phone is not on . I tried the up & down volume idea on here & it hasn't worked so far but only did it 3 times. I have never backed up my phone to iTunes because i use i cloud. i tunes is not installed on this laptop i am using now to try & resolve this problem. i cant do DFU mode :/ i press volume up, down and then press the side button but at 1 second it goes to the turn off screen :/
