Foley is the guy that hired Urban Meyer, Billy Donovan and Mike White. Somehow he completely whiffed on McElwain. Fortunately, Mullen was waiting on the UF job to open up while in Mississippi. They always say fact is stranger than fiction...a UF coach who went to back-to-back SEC title games is considered a miserable failure, while a UF coach who was the first to lose to Kentucky in 30+ years, at home no less, has the program more energized than it's been since Tebow was on the roster. Crazy.

McElwain was carried by the best defense in the nation for two years, usually the team who plays in the sec championship is ranked in the top 10 but sadly the Gators couldn't score so the teams were like 19 and 22 ranked playing bama. The offense now with that 2015 team could prob beat bama cause it was 29-15 and the offense sucked
