- Here is Hoji's full athlete extra segment from 2010's "The Way I See It". Hoji spent his winter killing lines at Golden Alpine Holidays' Meadow Lodge and also got a ton of time in the Bralorne BC and Whistler BC zones - over eight minutes of pure, unadulterated, Hoji shred-time!

Nothing beats tree skiing with a few pillows and logs to play on. Sick skier choosing fun and speed over looking cool with the most style. That chute and a few of those double cliffs were fkn full on. Total ripper
Wow! Even scouting those lines ahead of time, to be able to go into them blind, stick the drops in tight spaces, and being able to react as quickly as he does at speed is amazing!
Eric Hoji certainly is Master of the steep and deep and it must have been difficult for the cinematographers to set themselves up for all of the sequences too..

Erik is one of the cleanest skiers around! Humble, and doesn't do anything fancy (sorry park riders) but this is how you do it in the BIG LEAGUES!

@hallywoodunded4LIFE haha ya well so far the skiing has been crap here on the east coast. Absolutely no snow and watching this video doesn't make me feel any better. Last year I skied about 70 days, this year I've skied 3.
climbing skins, my friend! they create one-way friction between your ski and the snow so, when used with a touring binding setup, you can walk uphill without sliding all the time! a real plus for backcountry skiers.
