    Thank you!! I've been playing it this way for years after I figured it out by accident one day. To me it always sounded truer to the recording, but I would never see anyone else play it this way, so I needed this reassurance. You're the man, Ryan.

    There's also a 3rd way, without capo!
    Try F7M, then rest you pinky finger on the 3rd fret of the G string, to make it sound like a Bb (or F4) and then C.

    Tom Petty actually played the capo 1 version you point out in this video at the Super Bowl..... So there we go.

  • @israelfwm
    @israelfwm 2 роки тому

    That's cool, except for one thing. When you play using the capo on 3º fret, I think the correct form of this ''G'' is keep the D (finger 1 and 3) and just move your second finger to 6º string playing the ''G'' (A). I'm trying to visualize this without my guitar but I think its forming a F/A

    • @israelfwm

    9/14/22. Hey Ryan, you should NOT go to see Pearl Jam in Nashville in 2 days. I believe Stone Gossard is wearing a black face mask while playing during the concert. Why? STAY AWAY! Think of your family, your turtles! You may catch the Punkymox at the concert! Stay away! Take care, Ryan.
