I literally listened to no edm probably 2 years ago. As soon as I heard this dudes music I had to hear more. He literally shifted my preference in music to the point that all I'm listening to now is bitbird artists and other trap step/ future bass artists. This shit just has such a good vibe to it. Here in the south us, all edm is grouped together and kind of associated with the rave scene but in a negative way. I wish more people were exposed to his music in my area. Might change perceptions. Sick performance.
8:47 His song that he released 3 years ago that changed his life... changed mine in the EDM world. Honestly this song was the first song in my EDM playlist and my buddies and I listened to it all the way down to Ultra Miami 2015 and lost our minds. It all started for us with this song. Freaking crazy... :D

Every time I watch this performance I’m just reminiscing on the past and how absolutely SICCK this show was!! All of the live sets are pretty awesome but this one especially went hard af!!
see. the ending made me a bit sad...one of my bestest of best friends killed himself about a year ago, and San Holo helped him so so much through his worst of times up until his death. he would tell me about dreaming of seeing San Holo live, and I remember staying up with him when he missed the Show playing closest to him. he was crying. Every single song San Holo produced he'd listen to, and they all made him smile. it's such a shame he isn't here to listen to Light..I'm sure he would love it. I remember I bought him a San Holo shirt and he cried. Thank you, Mr. Holo. you helped him live just a little longer.

EDC LV 2019 San Holo kills it at main stage. Honestly never seen a crowd like that. Me and my girlfriend was in the near back, by the end of the set we were literally in the middle. That crowd rushed in crazy.
This makes me happy everytime, for me a good dj is a guy who is raving with you from the decks and san holo totally enjoy what he is doing not like other djs that just stand there and do nothing, THIS IS A TRUE ARTIST, MUSICIAN AND DJ LOVE U SAN HOLO!
I come back all the time to this set. Arguably one of the hardest EDC sets of all time. Sans newer stuff is still good, but it doesn't go half as hard. Not to mention this set is how I discovered Autolaser

Its funny because I associate future bass as being mainstream and formulaic. Which makes me think that San Holo isnt really future bass, instead hes something else entirely. If he is considered future bass then yes, hes better than all those other shitty producers who merge with pop.

i agree San Holo produces future bass but i would say Mello is the king- he’s more mainstream/formulaic. San Holo is different and more emotional.. sort of in line with Illenium. But San Holo of course is amazing at what he does.
