6:17 just a heads up. The story is told in a very convoluted manner with time skips and flashbacks. The writers REALLY want you to work for the story. There a multiple medias and several POVs and a host of unreliable narrators. It's a challenging read. I've heard Honkai described as a Visual novel punctuated with game play. When you play the game don't rush. Take your time. The game isn't going anywhere. Just know that if you looked up the definition of 'nonlinear story telling' the picture would be this game. But it's sooooo worth it!

As you asked for some criticism at the end, I'm happy to provide my own opinion 😅 On the audio matter, I'd say that raising the overall volume of the video in editing reasonably to some degree would be beneficial as the viewer could then by themselves decide whether they want their ears blasted or not. Secondly, I think whenever a video has subtitles, I think it would be good to navigate your own camera around that so the viewer can enjoy the same experience as you do. Since I do believe that to some that experience is rather important and it doesn't really take that much effort nor time. Those are a couple of my own opinions which I believe are fair and easily achievable improvements. Also if you're still interested, shortly put, the 13 flame chasers are a group from the "previous era" which was a time placed 50 000 years before the events of the main story. By Kevin's own words they tried to be heroes of their own time, but failed, and due to unfortunate circumstances, they lost the war against the Honkai and humanity was mostly wiped out with some survivors I'd assume. That's the short & sweet of it without any spoilers. I hope that my opinion provides some value & the explanation of the 13 was easy to understand :)

5:36 a bit late but... The Flame Chasers are the last 13 MANTIS soldiers of the previous era. They live on in a simulation in the current era. The previous era ended when it was destroyed by the Honkai 50k years ago. They preserve the history, knowledge and habits of the previous era and that simulation is a kind of training aid for one of three anti-honkai factions of the current era. The previous era did not end well. #depressionimpact #YATTA
