    Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.

    My one question, is the soap tank detachable so you can clean it out and put something else in?

    Whenever you set up a pressure washer always run water through the washer before turning the power on to purge all of the air out or you risk damaging the pump.

    How do you remove soap dispenser to rinse? I have soap in it but need to add house cleaner.

      Buy a foam canon instead, so you don't contaminate your pump and possibly shorten the life of your pressure washer, the foam canon just hooks up on the end of the gun.

    Can I buy different attachments like a new hose & gun ? I want to get into mobile detailing.

    • @joemusic2882

      I highly recommend upgrading the hose to an “UberFlex” 50 foot hose. Just google search it. It’s blue in color and won’t kink like the stiff hose the washer comes with.

    Tha ks for the video! I'm thinking about picking one up but I'm curious how it performs in concrete such as driveways and patios. Have you have you tried that out? Any luck?

    • @robmon3241
      @robmon3241  2 роки тому

      So I used it on my concrete patio and driveway, it's not bad, it is a small electric power washer so it's handy and convenient with essentially 0 maintenance, but it will take you a bit longer than a high gpm gas or electric power washer. We got ours on sale for $80 which is a great deal and would totally recommend to anyone if you can get it for around $100 plus or minus.
      If you're only using it one or a few times a year for big stuff like that I think it would be a great tool, but if you're using it weekly or every other week I'd recommend going with a higher GPM power washer

    Does yours have little spurts of water that come out of the motor in between where the water inlet hose attaches and the hose to your gun? Mine has sporadic little spurt out of there. Is this normal?

    • @GreenMountainMan.
      @GreenMountainMan. 2 роки тому

      Mine is spurting water just behind the tightening clamp for the garden hose. Looks like I'm headed to Costco to switch it out for another one

    • @robmon3241
      @robmon3241  2 роки тому

      I have not had that issue with mine, maybe a bad gasket or seal if it's leaking at a connection point, if it's leaking from the metal motor probably best to take back and swap out

    Does the small black soap nozzle cause the soap to dispense, when the other nozzles do not?

    • @robmon3241
      @robmon3241  2 роки тому +2

      Correct, when using the black soap nozzle it comes out more like a normal garden hose pressure with the suds to more gently spray soap everywhere, as opposed to the other nozzles that are high pressure to strip off the dirt from the object being washed without soap

      I did find that it dispenses much better when the pressure washer is laying horizontally rather than upright

      Go back to Costco and return it then buy another. Would be a hell of a lot quicker than waiting for customer service to send you a part.

      Costco returns I've had great experiences with, they'll accept almost anything back, like they said ^^^ I would just go back and either replace with another or get a refund and get something else if you prefer

    can you easily clean siding on a house?

    • @robmon3241
      @robmon3241  2 роки тому

      Yes, it works well I would say for a 1 story house. The hose it comes with is on the shorter side, but again this was a cheap, smaller, compact PW so for a one-story house it'd be fine. For a two-story house where you're going to use an extension wand it will work, but it's definitely going to be on the weaker side for that being that the GPM is low

    What type of soap did you use?

    • @robmon3241
      @robmon3241  2 роки тому +1

      Same soap as we use at work, its a neutral stone/concrete cleaner made by chemstar...good ones I've heard of are: Karcher's multipurpose cleaner, simple green all-purpose, krud kutter DF01 & Sun joe all-purpose heavy duty are all good ones. I just had some of the chemstar stuff leftover
