Awesome video! Brings back many memories. We used to ride Nisene years ago, from about 92-98.
Favorite ride was from the Aptos parking lot up the fire road to Sand Point Overlook then down the Westridge trail.

Thanks for the feedback. Many more videos coming up, I am just very slow and don't like doing the editing part.

That secret trail is rugged and tight! Up and Down.

It was def rugged and tight. At that time the shuttles hadn't been running... I'd guess when shuttles are an option it gets more worn in.

What are considered great bikes for these

Any trail trail bikes that are well built, whether it's hardtail or full suspension is preferences for most trails. I had a hardtail because they tend to be much cheaper but if you have the budget for it go for a full suspension

A 5-6" travel full suspension like the Specialized Stumpjumper (my ride) or a YT Jeffsy would is good. You could do a hard tail though.

I shuttle Niscene all the time. Park one car at Buzzard Lagoon and the other Olive springs quary. You can hit Bosshog, Yellow Jacket, 911, Hatchet and more.
