I was reflecting today how Netanyahu's hero brother who died at Entebbe he cannot forget, so how can he sell out and betray the hostages he is now responsible for? He is under great pressure from outside as well as inside the country to pull his punches and draw back and stand down. As a friend of Israel over 43 years, I am concerned. Jonathan Pollard is so right, this is the most critical, momentous time. Which way will Netanyhu at the helm, the tiller in hand, elect to turn the rudder? Which way will he direct the ship of state? The destiny of Israel hangs on him doing the right thing, even if it means his own hurt and loss of office and reputation.

Can I add, a strong consideration also needs to be given to the response by Israel’s hard left to any ‘hawkish’ policy Israel may chose to make that may be viewed by them as extremist or nationalistic.

Sadly Israel's form of government is called a coalition govt or black mail govt and can't be the prime rib unless head of a party.
