Same for most of my projects in raw numbers. Additionally, I always have 1 or 2 (or the current 5) big projects going that take weeks, months, or years.
Since I've been doing photography digitally I've heard it said that one can overdo the edits. With powerful editing tools like LR and Capture One I can see that happening. I have in the recent past over edited a photo. I heard it's good to walk away from it and come back at a later time. Then it's easier to see if it's over processed. I guess one, myself included, can get so wrapped up in the process that it becomes difficult to see when it's really done. For the type of photography I do I can understand why it's important to get it right in camera. I know this isn't akin to making a movie but it's a close to comparison as I can make with what I do. Let us know when you finish your project.
I tend to move through projects really fast - I’m done with one when the next one catches my eye 😂
