Great mod Dazed .. my only feedback is having a conveyor belt sort the potatoes directly into the bays either loose or in pallets automatically sorted as an option. I feel like only having 3 pallets spawn on a single player play though would be very time consuming moving them one by one as generally if you plant potatoes you have a large field to Harvest. I’m sure I’ll use this mod in its current form and hope this is seen as feedback not hate as I’m by no means capable of modding.

Looking good! This mod opens hopefully some possibilities for flowerbulbs or something in that topic. Very common where I come from and yet didn't see much of that kind of farming in FS.
So that little farm in the south on Court Farms struck me as a fun little corner to finally get some of this tater play done. Sorting and everything works, unfortunately can't get them sold anywhere (Including if I put the 'expanded' farmers market on the map). Well, too bad. Maybe it's incompatible somewhere. In general it's obviously well made. Props to the mod makers.
This is clearly the work of a genius. I'm on the Yukon Valley map - they grow lots of spuds, huge things. This feels like a mod I have to use with the map.
I would like to see this mod and the potato crisp mod blend together as well. The price index would greatly increase for profitability I think. Amazing job Dazed!

I like the idea and hope for more expansion to the production system. If you are growing a lot of potatoes moving 2000l at a time in that building would become annoying after the "new" wears off the experience. It also looks tight in there.
how are u gettign it to work because im getting told with the mod one that i have to attach a tool with a motor to work the item and than when i try that i wont unload it just starts glitching out

its great mod, but i do hope there will be some more improvement to it. what i mean by that is little more animation on the potato sorter itself, all ya hear is noise and pallets appear. i'd imagine that would be possible to make somehow. just like the potato washer from FS 19, hope that one makes a comeback on 22 as well
So I found the modded belt does not load into sorter I believe it is an issue with the new update. Has anyone found an alternative to loading potatoes either than using the crates? I now you can use the potato belt to makes crates to load sorter with.
SO I used the long conveyors like you wrote in one of the comments and it worked perfectly. I got a couple of boxes full with premium potatoes and put them in one of the storerooms in the back. Now here is my problem: it doesn't put out new boxes anymore ... It says there is "no space" But there is nothing standing in the way, still I can't get it to spawn new boxes... Any idea?

You know the thing where you put the potato box in (which is very hard to begin with xD) and then it should produce bigbags from it. I put the box in, but it doesn't recognize it. Says there are no pototes :/
Exciting new mod pack, although haulm toppers are not used in rear configurations alone without a combination front topper for a reason. Even with narrow tires, the tractor weight crushes the vegetation, making cutting rougher, not clean, and leading to choking up the harvester when the potatoes are extracted.
I have over 100 acres of potatoes ready to harvest but once I load the conveyor it refuses to load the sorter. It's basically broken, don't know what to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Trying to use a conveyor to load from hopper but just emptying on floor. Just going to load sorter from boxes from hopper with a fork lift. Brilliant mod opens up a great deal for potatoes fs has been needing this for ages. Love all various additions of planters and growing own see plus waste products and new production. Bagging prem potatoes is so satisfying getting the extra money from your hard work. Would love Dazed to maybe develop even more with de stoning fields with bed former ridger and grimmer as farmer who grow potatoes do that would cover potatoes in general. Great videos thanks.
Auto loading pallets can't come to consoles due to it requiring a script, which isn't allowed to be added to consoles through mods due to manufacturer guidelines.
@@mikebeshears9711 That wasn't actual autoload, it would "fill" the trailer with the fill-type and then hidden models would become visible, you couldn't unload the pallets, only the fill-type and had to configure what filltype you wanted in the shop.
I really like the mod concept, but I don't think I'll be using it due to the pallet system. Potential performance issues aside, the high volume of potatoes would mean that you're manually stacking hundreds of pallets for an average sized field. That's a lot of labor that you can't hire an AI worker to do... I hope a version of the mod comes out that has a bulk storage option. Maybe an expansion of that conveyor belt system to sort into the various cold storage rooms or something, or even just an option to sort into the back of trailers rather than pallets.

The watered down mods are because Sony and Microsoft won’t allow them mostly due to either licensing limitations or because of 3rd party scripts, Giants hands are tied because of it
And I don’t think it will happen either as the script would have to be updated every time someone created a new production chain output, so it would be unmanageable as Giants have to pay Sony and Microsoft for every update, the only way for it to work would be if it only took base game pallets so it wouldn’t work with this potato production facility for example
So the best mod is the one that reduces profits by taking half of your potatoes and trashing them on an already tedious and low profit crop type? Riiiiighttt...
But the preimuim potatoes sell for more (double if you time it right) and you still have seed potatoes to sell or not have to purchase seed to replant, I think the modder has introduced a more realistic way to handle potatoes, at least this is how they are done in the UK and Europe.

sorry but its not one of the best, its very bad.. its so buggy that it doesnt work. I tried it lots, but its too buggy. Please dont make it sound better then it is. It would be great mod yes, but its not
@@TheFarmSimGuy i did my research, and it doesnt work. Also not after update. Sorry if you are offended but then you need to built something that isnt buggy. And yes im a developer too, i know the drill. Found a fix with the tl 12-39 conveyer to load bulk, otherwise its useless anyhow. Cant babysit a sorter all day when it onlybtakes 2000 liter.. Now need a fix to get bulk pallets out, again otherwise useless. Cant sit there all day as i have multiple productions and fauilds to manage. The hall should have a way to get vehicles inside, now the input for orting machine the way, just a few remarks that are making it unpractical. But please fix the bugs first. If you say it works perfect then we are done talking.
@@bertpierey3655 For clarity, this is an old video, V1 has now been superceeded with V2 and when you say useless, perhaps it maybe is for your play style, but the modder was going for realism (having had experience with european potato farming). Both my experiences with the mod, and this vid from Argsy gaming ua-cam.com/video/XXPlySuRcWY/v-deo.html I have had no issues with it. It's working as Dazed intended it too. Like I said it may not be appropriate for your style of play but what you've listed are preferences you would like to see in the mod but they aren't bugs.

That's correct Glan, it should load using the normal conveyors, but yes the last game patch broke it

This is based on the UK method for packing and storing potatoes which is very labour intensive

sorry but its not one of the best, its very bad.. its so buggy that it doesnt work. I tried it lots, but its too buggy. Please dont make it sound better then it is. It would be great mod yes, but its not
It worked perfectly until the last game update broke it, it’s now been updated, please don’t criticise without doing your research first 👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy i did my research, and it doesnt work. Also not after update. Sorry if you are offended but then you need to built something that isnt buggy. And yes im a developer too, i know the drill. Found a fix with the tl 12-39 conveyer to load bulk, otherwise its useless anyhow. Cant babysit a sorter all day when it onlybtakes 2000 liter.. Now need a fix to get bulk pallets out, again otherwise useless. Cant sit there all day as i have multiple productions and fauilds to manage. The hall should have a way to get vehicles inside, now the input for orting machine the way, just a few remarks that are making it unpractical. But please fix the bugs first. If you say it works perfect then we are done talking.
@@bertpierey3655 For clarity, this is an old video, V1 has now been superceeded with V2 and when you say useless, perhaps it maybe is for your play style, but the modder was going for realism (having had experience with european potato farming). Both my experiences with the mod, and this vid from Argsy gaming ua-cam.com/video/XXPlySuRcWY/v-deo.html I have had no issues with it. It's working as Dazed intended it too. Like I said it may not be appropriate for your style of play but what you've listed are preferences you would like to see in the mod but they aren't bugs.
