The drummer, that "looked happy to be there" actually is one of Japan's best known drummers, Tamu Murata. Who is best and so on don't interest me, but she is very, very good at what she does, and that is enough for me. The both guitarists also are top notch. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with the singer and the basist. The singer actually has a very unique and interesting voice, its a bit raspy and she can really scream.
Must be relaxing for these ladies to play somethig so comfortable and relatively easy for them compared to their own music....all super talented!! Vocally, I appreciate when she sticks to cleans!!🤘
The guitarist on the left, Hazuki, is in a band (I forgot its name) with Lisa X. It has more of a pop sound with English lyrics. Edit: I see you have already reacted to them.
I think you did the ladies a bit of a disservice on two accounts. First, they are much more than a cover band. This video is three years old. They have released so many amazing originals since then. Second, you should have set your guest straight. They are not kids bankrolled by a manor label. They are all veteran musicians who brought to this gig the pro-level gear they were playing before MAYU brought them together.
Lovebites will be fun to see what he thinks off. I guess it is the latest version of "Stand and deliver", but we will see. It would also be nice for him to look at an original Nemophila, either studio or Live. They have so much good stuff. Not to tak about all fantastic covers they have made.
Very nice reactions. Yes, those girls can keep a grove. Affording their gear? Those girls are a bit older than they look. They are actually 30+. And they have been around, playing in other bands. E.g. the drummer is a pro session drummer playing for tons of bands in studios. Also they are endorsed by brands. Saki is supported by Killer, Tamu by Tama, Hazuki by Ibanez, etc.

"Rock chicks"? 7:258:518:55 🤨Nemophila are 5 *grown-up ladies* performing *Metal excellence* . They perform way more professionally than male "competitors" delivering mediocrity and looking tormented while doing so. "Rock chicks" therefore seems like an unqualified uttering to me. Nemophila belong to the best (Punk) *Metal* bands in the world, with tour legs in the U.S. and Europe. Therefore, in my opinion, anyone calling these five *outstanding Metal ladies* "rock chicks", supposedly does not know how to express himself in a respectful way towards female music colleagues. And whoever does not _correct_ such an uttering _instantly_ as an anchorman, does not seem to _care_ , unfortunately. 😕 Therefore, this is a rather _inappropriate_ reaction to Nemophila, imho. 🙁
Joel said the video was released "5 days ago". I'm guessing he filmed these reactions 2 weeks ago, which would mean the song will be "Stand and Deliver". I think Kyle has a background in Punk, so "Stand and Deliver" is probably a good choice as it has a bit of a punk feel to it. But we'll know tomorrow for sure.
@777Phoebe he mentioned about playing 3000 mph which lovebites is the best . Liar to me sounds like early 80s modern rock. But anything they do is impressive.

Nice to see Kyle enjoying a cover of a classic Maiden song by these talented ladies.

Good point, it is a simple song compared to their songs, that they wrote.
They make it look so darn easy. And look so good doing it !
They just released a brand new MV this morning called Odyssey. It's very different from their other original material. It's a soft power ballad.
ネモフィラ、ありがとう!
I always love seeing Tamu so radiant in this, pregnant with her first daughter. Amazing woman.
This dude needs to see a Nemophila original. Seriously.

Awesome! Great vocal, amazing band
Nemophila is one my favorites they are awesome

Or their homage to Maiden "the crusade"
Good tight band and the best vocalist of the J-Girl metal bands.
Prefer their own stuff but a good cover to show their chops.

Yeah - I think Kyle assumed they were just a group of girls who get together to jam occassionally, rather than a professional band.
@@1970Phoenix Yeah and Joel doesn't know much either to actually explain to him what's going on.
