By far, this 3-part series is the most informative and engaging how-to video about watercolor painting on youtube.
    Thank you for posting.

Painting looks more deeper and cool than the actual object....Wow he revealed all the secrets of a painter which most of them are reluctant to do so...
    Great art...!!!

Thanks so much for this wonderful demo. Love how you show each step and explain what you are doing and why. A real painting demo in real time instead of a speed painting with loud music, thanks again and please make more videos, I have subscribed.

This is quite simply the most helpful watercolour tutorial I have seen on UA-cam. My landscapes so far looked like soulless blobs of colour without coherence, partially because I had no idea how to mix colours correctly, let alone which brushes to use for the job, where to add detail, etc. This video explains all of that and more ever so splendidly. Thank you so much!

I love Geoff and respect his talent and thank the Painting and Drawing Channel for putting these up for us...but, at about 3:32 the Gold Star goes to anyone who can figure out the words he says just before "...use a bit of kitchen roll..." That is classic.

I love all your videos -but I have a weird question. Why on all (all artists) the instructional watercolor videos, on DVD too, they use one little brush even for large washes when all the books say to pick the size of the brush for the job? It sometimes looks like the artist only owns one size brush-a 5. I figured there has to be a reason I am not aware of ...
